I as the DM will guide about 5 players through the Forgotten Realms. The rp will be group-based. Hope you enjoy the concept!
Details: Character sheets & strict mechanics, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
I'm interested. I'd rather wait and make a character to better fit into what the party may or may not need, and I enjoy playing support characters.

I might be interested. I have a D&D character or two i'd like to flesh out. They were made for campaigns that never got off the ground which is always a bummer.
I'm not overly familiar with 5th ed, having bowed out of tabletop during 3.5 (due to life situation) but I love the forgotten realms heh. Not as much as I love Planescape but still, it's a dang good fantasy setting.
I've never done "table top" via forums though. This could be a novel experience.
Also, i'm really bad at remembering mechanics. I own copies of the 5th ed books so I can have them on my lap to rummage through, but i'm severely dyspraxic so my short term memory is rubbish and my comprehension of things might need a little er... gentle explanation. Sometimes something that's obvious to others in a mechanic I can't wrap my head around at first. But I try very hard.
If you're willing to be patient with my silly brain then i'd love to play.

Don't worry about it, I will explain anything I can and I'm sure the other players can help with that too.
I don't mind playing. School prevents me from committing to a physical table at this point so forum post might be better. However, I live in southeast asia so pls let me know if the RP does or does not permit the timezone difference.
Don't worry, I chose forum based sessions precisely for the occurrence of time zone differences. This particular campaign doesn't need to have quick responses like a tabletop game; so long as you notify the group of any lengthy amount of time you'll be away such as exams or holidays.
