This story will typically revolve around monsters. What you perceive as a monster affects how the story progresses.

Are they as evil as everyone says, or are they just as scared as you are? We can always find out, and you might even make some friends along the way!

Of course... There's always a stronger evil out there, so maybe monsters are the least of your worries.

I would like to rp this with you if that's ok. Although the character I have is a dragon who has a human form, so would it be better to just make her human for this or can I keep her as a dragon with that human form?

I would love to try this! One of my characters has some experience with monsters. He'd be interested.

I have a (personally) negative view about shapeshifters due to a lot of experience with people who tried god-modding with them, but I'm getting over that.
There's also the fact that dragons are usually considered the ultimate monsters, so this particular character would seem like a villian towards others. I wouldn't mind them joining, as the tension between characters would either rise or gradually fade, depending on her personality and how she interacts.

Don't worry, I try not to god-mod with the shapeshifting, but if I do accidentally I'll change it upon request. And as for her personality, it defenitely would depend on if she learns to trust the other characters or not. But if it's ok I would love to rp this. If I do anything over the line or god mod please let me know as I don't mean to and I'll change it as soon as I see what needs to be changed. And if it makes you more comfortable, she can mostly stay in the human form until it is absolutely necessary she turns into a dragon.

A friend of mine has a character that is a demon, but wears an amulet that binds him to human form. Taking they off forced him back to a dragonlike demon form, so I'm not all too opposed to the idea.

Transforming also takes a lot of energy to pull it off, so that sounds like a last resort as it could potentially leave her very lethargic or something similar.

If that's the case, I'm not telling you what your character is capable of.

My character can wear an amulet or earring with that idea in mind if you'd like. My character normally just uses a spell to shift between the two, unless there is something preventing her from doing so. It would drain a lot of her energy, so she probably would be a little lethargic.

I'm interested in this, but my only question would be if the RP is set in more modern times or not? If it is, then I'm totally down for it with this character.

I have a merfolk character with a battle/death heavy past that could work well I think. Her kind is notorious for killing pirates and tourists, but she's trying to move past all that. Depending on how you want to head with it, but her personality is vastly more upbeat.
