Which short story?

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with that episode where the klingon-federation alliance never happens, and only Guinan is aware of the "correct" timeline. But that has nothing to do with mirrorverse--thought the mirrorverse still exists in general.

I don't even know if I'd call Guinan "super OP." She doesn't have like blasty powers or mind control or craziness. God I love her L

Oh, hm, unless again "OP" here is referring to operations. So someone from ops who stows away and has to work.... and has something to do with both multiple timelines and the mirror verse. And I just cannot even, lol

The stowaway may refer to someone having to fill in for their mirror universe counterpart, and pretend to be them. But who does this who is "overpowered?" And if OP means operations, what does "super operations" mean.

Yes, if you read it like a noun, that makes sense! "He's a super OP!" But... i don't know if they ever refer to operations officers like this. Well, it's worth looking into!

Not sure if this is relevant and/or has already been mentioned but...

You pull the cork out of the Message in a Bottle and gently fish the paper out of it. Unrolling it, you see that it reads:

Our OP friend was a stowaway, pressed into service.

Now you have an empty bottle, too!

This is a common/re-occuring message in a bottle quote...

Edit: I just had an idea, what if there's a clue hidden somewhere among the fishing topics? Or maybe the next clue will come as a message in a bottle??
