What do you mean by Hulk, Bun?
Thanks, Orrik! We've taken that one into consideration too. It's a helpful clue!

That's very true! But I'm 99.99% sure this is a Star Trek riddle
Given that I'm not finished DS9 and I don't want spoilers, I've only gone through 3 of the mirrorverse episodes. In none of them does Obrien take Smiley's place, alas. Hrm. I don't know TOS, Disc, or ENT very well, but I'll glance at the synopses and see what jumps out at me.
I don't think any of the TOS crew are considered ops officers... and in ENT the mirrorverse episodes take place ONLY in the mirrorverse, I think. and I can't find good plot synopses of the DISC mirrorverse episodes >_< Hmmmm
Maybe I'm focusing too much on the mirrorverse-ness. The clue focuses on the "distinct timelines," each of which has its own mirrorverse.
I know this much, I'm going to start watching Star Trek now...
It's great!

Sounds like it!
The Crocodile Shaman's first clue is: Two distinct timelines, made four by mirrors within them
The Crocodile Shaman's second clue is: Super OP, but chill about it
The Crocodile Shaman's third clue is: A natural defensive response
Maybe it's referring to a specific character but their "mirror" or theirself in an alternate/mirrored universe?
OP usually means OverPowered right? So OverPowered but chill about it? Like maybe they are super powered/super strong or can destroy worlds and stuff but it's not in their personality to actually do so?
(I'm thinking this is what Bun was going through in their mind when they mentioned Hulk...)
But that last clue...
Becoming the Hulk was sort of a natural defensive response for Bruce!!!
...what if it is something to do with the Hulk or Bruce Banner!!?!?

Like I mentioned before, I'm 99.99% sure this is a Star Trek riddle! The symbol for this riddle is the Klingon empire symbol. Within the Star Trek universe, there is a sort of parallel universe that the fans refer to as "the mirror universe."

Oh... *sighs wishing I watched Star Trek so I could be more useful here*
. . .
*tries to think harder but ends up smoking from the ears*
...nope, my brain is dead... *Sulks and slithers away defeated*
I've been reading plot synposes and stuff of episodes I've never seen!
Can confirm: this symbol has been used to represent Star Trek during EW for roughly four years running

One character this brings to mind is Q from next gen, but I'm not so sure. Due to the Klingon symbol it then makes me think of Warf. I have no idea. Lol
Wait, is this the Caretaker?
So I don't know if this has been said and I've been doing some wikipedia-ing, (I also don't know a thing about Star Trek)
But Kor is the first named Klingon. He's the antagonist of Kirk, so the mirror. He's in 4 seasons, so the 4 reflections. I'm not sure if he's OP but chill about it, but he is the defense captain of the Klingons ergo the natural defensive maneuver.

Maybe?

You pull the cork out of the Message in a Bottle and gently fish the paper out of it. Unrolling it, you see that it reads:
Our OP friend was not bipedal.
Idk if this was already found...

Nice one, Ash!
Could it be something in the new show, Discovery? I'm trying to avoid spoilers so I can't look into it myself though.
Here's this though: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Non-humanoid_species
