How did you get find the gate. Aparently I'm terrible ;^;
Great job though!
Find the gate, icvo rbono ano, but use only
The map looks like it says RPR, so but use only RPR
The first page of morse code in that book doesn't say 'find the gate', though. It says "iksn ar hkpr", which is something that needs to be figured out somehow, hahah.
"Find the gate" is written on the tablet that got pulled up out of the ocean by the helpful mermaid. It's written in the same Alien Language as the passage in the book that says "icvo rbono ano". We decoded the Alien Language in Epic Week 2017; Heimdall's posted a guide to it in the Oceanic Language thread if you're interested in learning what it's about!

hm. These books have to mean something though, right?
*settles in to watch this thread*
I'm sure they do! It might not even be for this particular symbol, but it's a puzzle that we'll probably have to figure out at some point or another.
I like the approach you're taking, overall, though.

Hey! Can any of you give me permission to acquire weapons from the Armory?
I'll do it, 8_Stars!
Interesting to try to see the titles of those books...
Pirates
Blank
Treasure Island - Robert Louis Stevenson
Epic Week Survival Guide
Adventurer's handbook
The great bug war the novel --- D'Angelus
Bug Hunting 101
Interesting Roleplay collected stories
A Journey to Epic Week --- Kim and Darth
The Tome of Alien Languages Vol 1 -- (blurry)(my guess is Heimdall and Dragonfire???)
Caribbean Pirates of the...
Blank
EP... (too blurred to read)
A few titles are talking about pirates and in the "did you know" section it mentions pirates a lot too
Want to fight some pirates, but don't have any weapons?
Here's a list of ways to get your hands on a weapon...

Yep, Tus, that does say Heimdall and Dragonfire!
There are gonna be lots of mentions of pirates, the ocean, etc. because that's the theme this year. Gotta fight off those nasty goblin pirates trying to steal our treasure.
So: in the Book of Alien Languages, right next to the page of alien script, there is a severely cut off snippet of morse code. It says "KI"
Yeah, I saw that too, but didn't bother translating. Maybe we should use all this and put it together? Try to unscramble it?
And at the beginning of the book the cut off oceanic script says "HP." That might have just been a hint for deciphering the script (which we did), or maybe something more.
I'm still not sure about how "the tops of the columns" fits in. That video doesn't seem to have any columns in the library.
