I was thinking of maybe one of the grenades or rocket launchers from last year, but that second clue seems to contradict that theory now whoops

Yeah, this one's kinda weird. Wondering how something can be bright and hidden from view.

The only thing that really comes to mind are firework shows. The people that set them off and have them set up are usually hidden from view away from people that are there to see the celebration. Then you get bright lights that are produced with a bang.

There are any number of ways to hide a bright thing from view. A solar eclipse is a prime example, it simply doesn't have a bang to it. Also, this specifically seems to be implying multiple bright objects that you cannot see that then explode. Explosives themselves seem unlikely, as they are not actually bright while hidden. Only when they reach the bang point do they illuminate.

Has there been any fireworks related thing on the site?

Perhaps something that is really bright, but is ultraviolet or infrared? That would be bright, but invisible to us.

Personally, I first took this in a metaphorical way.

Bright = happiness or something
Hidden from view = something internal
Bang = a sudden instance of something. Like a sudden pain, except that wouldn’t work, of course.

So kind of like an epiphany?

Yes, but now, looking at the clues, I believe we're looking for something plural. As well, epiphanies aren't exactly hidden. I think I was on the wrong road with the second clue...

What about a star? It's sometimes hidden from view and do explode with a bang

Possibly, but I feel like it's almost too simple. Stars aren't always hidden, so maybe something like "stars in the daylight" or something...

Okay, guys, I was rewatching the video on the latest news announcement (the one with the sea battle), and I think I'm on to something.

The cannons!

Bright things (the flash of the cannon firing).

Hidden from view (behind a gun port).

Bang (self-explanatory).

There were fireworks in the opening video. Maybe something is hidden within them. Or, maybe it refers to the cannon fire in the newest vid! The cannons have a bright flash, and are hidden until the doors open, and they go BANG X)
