I was watching the videos for the event, and I think you guys are up to something. I wonder if "find the gate" has anything to do with it as well.

It's possible! "Find the gate" appears written in both the alien script and the oceanic script on the tablet, so it's technically a cipher from the deep. It was a solution for one of the other symbols, however, so unless it's acting as a cipher key for one of the garbled messages we've got -

WAIT WAIT

'a b d h p' are the base components of the oceanic cipher, aren't they?

That first page of the Tome of Alien Languages is probably referring to the bases.

Using it as a keyword cipher key doesn't work on the encrypted phrases, though.

Also, 'abdhp' is not the answer, itself.

Hrrrm. I need to go get some things done; maybe I'll have an epiphany.

I had the idea that it might have something to do with rearranging the letters 'a b d h p', but a quick google search revealed there aren't any words that use all five. So that's not the answer.

It has to be a cipher for something, then. That's my guess.

That means it's probably "Atlantis"!

Hmm, after reviewing the alien code from last year, it seems to go like this:

I'm not 100% sure about the fifth letter, though. Does this help us at all?

I'd be willing to bet it's trying to tell us to find something...

Maybe it's saying Find The
...? something? But what?!

Find the gate. It's written on the back of the tablet in the oceanic language.

Seems like a thing for a puzzle, since this is one of the only ones still not solved

(I think that the "gate" is something we're gonna find when we get through these two ships' worth of riddles!)

So. The clues to the language are in the Book of Alien Languages Vol 1 and the cipher from the deep is prrrrobably the stone tablet the princess has, the one that says "find the gate" and all the locations. Maybe something to do with those locations?
