Vast ocean is a way I've heard the universe described.

I'm guessing we have to enter a noun...

Any idea on the Sci fi franchise?

Lost in Space,maybe?

So the logical first thing is 'home'...

Battlestar Galactica is another idea. Lots of non gendered things looking for other things. I tried 'God' and 'Earth' and 'the 13th colony'

My first thought was also Subnautica! I feel like it fits the clues. A vast dead giant would be the Sea Leviathan or the Sea Emperor, and it fits the third clue because the sea leviathan was trying to get to the other one in the disease research lab.

It was "sea dragon leviathan egg"
