Forums » Looking for RP » Combat Newbs (closed)

So here's the thing: I've never actually RPed combat before in this style.
I've played tabletop games, so naturally, dice combat, and I've done narrative style RP (obviously), but I've never combined the two and I'm realizing now, despite interest, that I would probably be quite bad at it.

I'm looking for someone to play a war or battle of some sort, because I believe practice is the only way to get better at RP (aka apologies in advance to whoever may do this)
I'll be wanting either someone who has done combat and wouldn't mind RPing it with me and giving tips (doing so without judging I beg ya) or someone who is in the same situation as me, being totally inexperienced in combat RP and willing to test the waters with me.

To sum it up, I'm just looking for an RP for educational purposes, not really a matter of an actual, winner-determining battle, and I don't really have plans for it, I just want to learn a bit. It could even just be combat training or something, because that's what we'd literally be doing.
