HELLO wonderful artists!

(sad warning ahead)

Last year, my beloved pet cat Bluebottle died. We got her when I was in high school and I took her with me when I moved out of the country, so my mom didn't get to say goodbye to her.

I'd like to commission a portrait of the kitty, based on photographs (in any physical medium, whatever you're most comfortable with). I would need you to ship me the original plus one print (I'm in Idaho, USA).

I'm looking for an 8x10 in black and white.

Please get in touch via PM with a quote for the work that includes time and material costs, and an estimate for shipping costs. Please also include some examples of work you've done in physical mediums If I haven't given you enough detail to provide a quote, I'm happy to answer more questions.

I would prefer you not to continue to distribute (sell) prints of the work once you've completed it, but I'm not going to ask you to sign over the copyright. I am happy for you to use it in portfolios. If you absolutely must retain and use distribution rights of the work, just please let me know so that I can take it into consideration.

Note: I am unlikely to want work to begin for a couple of months, so if it sounds like something you want to do but you're full up on work right now, I am willing to (and prefer to) wait.

Goodness, I thought you were looking for an actual medium to establish a connection with Bluebottle. Boy, was I wrong!
