Dan Brown, Tolkien, Vonnegut. #nottooshabby
Analyzing a post I wrote for my creepy alchemist, I got H.P. Lovecraft.

How in the name of <insert violent hyperbole here> did you get the actual badge to display in the thread?
Also I received:
Mary Shelley (Good)
James Joyce (sweet heysus yessss)
H.P. Lovecraft (and there goes my belt buckle)
These are based on (in order) an excerpt of short horror/fantasy fiction, prose poetry, and essay.

CALLED IT nope not doing that myself.
I apparently write like Arthur Clarke, only one of the most important figures in scifi fiction. Nobigdeal.
This is pretty awesome!
From the first few paragraphs in my first chapter of my one novel, I got Ray Bradbury! Which fits, because my novel is sci-fi! Hehee

I used a few posts from Taffe and Sabai and I got that I write like Rudyard Kipling. Who wrote The Jungle Book, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, Kim, and the Just So Stories.
I like this. c: I like it a lot.

Apparently if I fill a few paragraphs with the word "dicks" and pepper it with random punctuation marks I am admirably mimicking Rudyard Kipling.
I got:
- Charles Dickens
- Gertrude Stein
- Bram Stoker
Analysing two posts I wrote for my alt Mauricio
I write like J. K. Rowling
Analysing an entire rp on my alt Anukha (only my own posts of course)

Hahaha! I put in Sullivan's physical description from his page and got Vladimir Nabokov, author of Lolita. So incredibly fitting! A recent roleplay post gave me Edgar Allen Poe. I can see why on both fronts, though, due to the usage of certain words in both instances. I think I'd have to post a lot more than I did to get a more accurate reading.
I added quite a lot more to the post I had already tried, several thousand words, and still got Poe! I don't know how well this thing actually works, but I'm flattered.

"Abcd Edfghi Jklmnopqrst Uv wyx; zabc." About 25 times in repetition earned me the title of "Mark Twain".
My most recent post (From a roleplay I'm currently in now) reveals that I write like my most favourite author, Edgar Allan Poe. To say I'm pleased would be something of an understatement.

Do you know about the "Infinite monkey theorem"?
I was tempted to try something like that myself.
A friend did hit random keys and got "William Shakespeare".
I did a couple of short stories I wrote up once. I got Jonathan Swift on both of them. Awesome!
