You rushed to be one of the first people to play a brand new game, among one of the newest in its technology. It brags about being a unique experience for each individual group, basing the game itself on the personalities of its players.

The game itself is focused entirely in a new format: the Memory Headset. It works by installing memories of playing in your head without actually passing by any time at all, making it so that you don't have to pause or take breaks in the middle of playing for mundane tasks such as eating.

You hear about this game that you can only play once every seven years and for winning, you receive an unknown prize. What have not heard is the object of the game and what you do in it. It brags of being cooperative, action packed, and puzzle filled, but the object of the actual winning conditions is unknown. Regardless, you decide to play this game, knowing from the tests performed on others that it is entirely harmless and would take up no time at all.

Upon putting on your headset and turning it on, you're sucked into a new reality where you seem to be surrounded by white. In front of you are floating black letters that say in a game-like font "LEVEL SOUL". The letters eventually change into "ENTER NAME" and a keyboard appears at your fingertips.

You are prepared to enter the game.

Hey guys, I've had this idea in my head for a while but I'm afraid it requires a group of 4 individually convinced people that are interested in joining in and committing in order to work. I've come up with this game for a long time and I've had a lot of fun thinking about it, but it comes time to actually put some things into action. I'm making this as vague as possible to add some surprise and fun into the story, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Answers to possible questions:

-All characters must be human and from modern times.

-This roleplay will take place on Discord. If you don't know what that is, it's a chat client much like skype except group chats are easier to format and utilize.

-I will take the role of the gamemaster, telling you about your surroundings and playing NPCs.

-Players will begin alone and as such, for the first map, there will be an individual thread/channel per each map. Cooperative action will take place after the first map, so don't worry if you think you'll be spending the entire time alone.

-The combat in the story description is located entirely within the game.

-The lack of magic describes the outer world, however, to not create confusion. Magic can exist within the game and can be unlocked by players later on.

-Because this has limited space, when I DM you I'd prefer that I see a RP sample from you. Not every reply has to be long, but when a lot of information is required, it's preferable that your response is longer. I'll ask for this in DMs. Don't be upset if I don't accept, it's nothing personal.

Um hey I'm actually interested in trying this out on discord I've actually been looking for a rp like Sao for a while since yours seems as close as possible if like to give it's try my only question is about the virtual world itself

Both. The game doesn't have other races to play as.
