Serenity tilted her head, looking once at the red head and back behind her. She didn't expect to see anything, but the bullets sounded so close, so near. She shivers as she hears the bullets sounding off. Pop, pop, pop. She didn't like the noise.
The bullets stopped briefly, her body loosened a bit. She continued to examine the girl. She looked like she was deep in thought. Her face was focused and tense. The small girl started to wonder what could be on her mind.
Before she could ask, a few questions escaped her lips. She asked questions she had not even thought of or found any importance in. Yes, she was alone, wasn't that obvious? Serenity came from a small city just off the highway a few miles away, the red haired girl must know such a young child couldn't make it very far on their own.
She heard the girl's accent, but made no question to ask where she was from previously. It didn't really matter, right?
Then another question filled the short silence in the air. The young child felt the oxygen leave her lungs, she audibly let out a gasp. Are my parents dead? She even had to ask herself that. Were they? Technically she didn't see them die, but no doubt, they had died in that apartment that day.
The air grew thicker and Serenity licked her dry lips. The air felt poisonous, like she was breathing in a foul smell every time her lungs demanded oxygen.
Serenity didn't want to totally answer the girl's question. So, the puts her hands behind her back and stares down at the cracked road beneath her feet. "A man did it," She answered innocently. Her soft voice filled the void of silence.

The distant - yet not so distant - gunshots ceased, only to pick up again as the slow, heavy pop of a revolver was replaced with the rapid thupathupa of submachine gun fire. She had no doubt it was that Asian dude, given how the sound didn't stop until the whole clip had been empty. The idiot was wasting ammunition like mad - and it was that notion, rather than the gunfire itself, that made Riley wince.
And she'd winced again after letting her furiously improper question slip her tongue. The little girl's instantaneous reaction was heartbreaking, and Riley's expression showed it.
Funny. Ayear and a half murdering her unsuspecting fellow humans without a second thought. A year and a half of discarding herhumanity piece by piece until she was nothing but an empty, meaningless shell of a person. She hadn't cared about those people. She hadn't cared about hurting them. She'd only made their deaths quick out of convenience, efficiency and conservation - it had nothing to do with mercy.
And yet now, having done no more than said a hurtful thing and seen the look on the child's face - it stung her deeper than all he murders combined. Between her niggling regret at leaving the old man behind and this, she was afraid she was starting to get all that lost humanity back - and the prospect was terrifying.
RIley blinked. She looked down at the asphalt, scracked and dusty. Scraps of metal from the many nearby wrecks cluttering the highway sat forgotten and small.
A man, huh? THat meant one of two things; either her parents had been killed by another human, or they had been kiled by a walker and somehow this girl didn't know what zombies were. If indeed she came from some nearby stronghold that was just now geting overrun, that made sense...
She didn't have any condolances to give. No 'I'm sorry' or trite 'it gets easier'. SHe just stood there in silence for a moment, trying to figure out what to do next. Trying to convince herself that she didn't give half a rat's ass about this dumb kid. Reminding herself that taking this kid with her was going to be a huge drain on her resources. It was going to endanger her greatly. It would probably end up getting her killed.
At long last, th redhead heaved a great, dejected sigh. Oh God, this was a bad idea. This was such a bad idea -
"Well..." she began, shouldering the rifle so that it hung over the heavy backpack by its nylon strap. She took a step toward the girl, then another, then started making as if to walk right by her. She made a point of not looking at the kid as she did so. "Guess y'better stick wit' me then." She said, knowing full well she was going to regret the words.
A least she could convince herself not to get attached to the kid. She could do that. Totally. That way when the kid inevitably got her brains mashed out by a walker Riley could still sleep at night. Definitely.
Making sure that the clasp on her machete sheath strapped to her thigh was unbuttoned for quick access, Riley walked on, not looking back at the girl. If she followed, great. If not - fine.
Fine.
From somewhere behind, the rumbling of a high-power engine came to her perception, and Riley grimaced. Of all the cars in the world, that dumb@#$% had gone and gotten himself some kind of muscle car. A big, fat, cool-looking gas-guzzler that might have been able to go real fast except all the roads were clogged with wrecks and debris - and a screaming, roaring engine that was bound to attract every zombie within the tri-state area.
She needed to stay the @#$% away from that car. THat Goddamned zombie-magnet.
Luckily, given that the highway was so clogged that one could go hardly more than an eighth of a mile before running into another obstacle, they weren't likely to catch up to her by driving. They would have to drive, stop, get out, move several wrecked vehicles out of their way, then proceed several more yards before repeating the process, all while making enough noise to turn their lives into a constant battle against the undead hoardes. She, meanwhile, could slip around, over and under the wrecks, quiet as a mouse and hardly have to fight three zombies in a day.
Proceeding with just that plan, Riley began walking north, sidling around the burnt husk of an SUV that had merged with a motorcycle, then stepping up onto the remains of a warped guard rail before hopping off the other side. The old man, the Asian, and their noisy car were nowhere to be seen.
And all the while, Riley forced herself not to look back and see if the little girl was following, telling herself she didn't care one way or the other...And secretly hoping that she'd see sense and tag along anyway.

Kibaro was going ahead of the old man in the woods right side of the road. When he saw a something moving he thought it's one of those walkers but when he stepped further he saw the red-headed girl. Her red hair was so obvious even from far range since everything had this dead color. Without any doubt, he figured that she's the girl and it was weird, she has a companion now?
For just a time ago he was going to kill him and now a companion? It was hard to see things from that range but from the size of cars on the road, he guessed her companion was something around 13 or maybe 14 years old. And it was unbelievable to see such a thing.
Since he saw the condition of the road and found out where the girl was and also had a companion, he had to get back and tell the old man, and he was certain that they didn't see him because of the distance. But they probably noticed that they are being followed by something because the car engine was too loud on its own.
He got back as fast as possible to tell the old man what he saw. When he got there he saw the old man getting stuck and can't go any further because of the wrecked car on the road, But that was the best shot to get the girl if she was a survival then he knows thing better than those two and knows the ways so it's probably better for them to stay to gather and besides they had more chance to survive with more number of people, after all, there weren't many people alive as before.
He said to the old man the things he saw "I saw two people and one of them probably was the red-headed girl and the other I think was a teenager. The road from this way is in a bad condition and if we try to get these cars out of our way gonna get hella time and they'll get away and we can't take the risk of going all by foot because we might lose the car and don't even find them. So it's probably better for you to try taking the other road and come from the other side of the road. And I keep walking along from this side of the road.
After saying what's going on to the old man he took the old man revolver and said "I am taking this with myself " and after it, he opened the trunk of the car with out letting the old man see what's inside of it, took a magazine of SMG ammo and a gas container with 2 gallon fuel in it and gave those to the old man and said " just in case, you know what to do"
He took the old man's revolver and ran towards the left side of the road, after going something around 400-500 meters he stopped and reloaded the revolver. After reloading was done he started shooting in the air three times, that was in order to first " distract the walker from the road, the old man and himself and try to make them off from his and the car tail. the second reason was to confuse the girl that maybe she thinks one of them is dead and not fallowing him anymore but that wasn't the main purpose.
After doing that he ran towards the road which was chasing the girl and continued chasing her from the right side of the road as fast as possible.
While chasing the girl he saw something from far away, he wasn't able to see what it is from where he was so he got closer, it saw a walker without any feet to walk, but it was already dead so he killed him without a second of thought with his machete and searched his backpack. Didn't find anything useful except a chocolate bar but when he wanted to get on his way he saw something else, that was so lucky! founding a bicycle! It's just like what he needed now.
He took the bicycle and got back to continue, chasing her but this time much faster than before.

Continued driving till he noticed many things in his way that would block his way, and reduce the speed of chasing and following.
Phill leads the car back and started looking for a way to escape from this situation because here is no guaranty for safety, they will arrive very soon.
Noticed that Japanese boy is coming from a far distance, after listening to his words he opened the trunk for him and let him do his thing, while waiting for him he checked him from the mirror.
He came and placed some fuel inside of the car, so he gave him his revolver as he offered after saying , "I hope you know what you're doing".
Drives off without saying anything else, he just moved his car and found another way to go to the other side of the road, he probably will be in front of her when she reaches him, turned off the car lights and drives, he doesn't know why he is doing it, but the reason that he may do it for was that brochure or maybe Canada, he can't reach there without more power, without people, without a hope to continue. Before those things happened in gas station maybe he has to give her a new home as restitution.
Maybe it's his duty to save her, because she saved him one time already. Maybe it's God's plan or something like that. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow so maybe he save her too.
This isn't a good world for people who are trying to ignore each other easily, they need each other if they want to survive, if they want their lives to be saved in dangerous situations by others. All of people are looking for help these days maybe she is one of them too, and tomorrow phill will be one of them.
Phill is driving on the further way towards the other side of the road, without noticing anyone and anything in his way, he suddenly notices a wrecked car on his way so he moved from the other way and didn't reduced his speed, takes his pistol from his bag it was that one Japanese boy gave it to him, takes a look at it, phill, you really don't need that, ok?
Dropped it on the passenger seat so he focused on driving.
Bunch of bad memories are coming into his mind, from his wife, from a boy,....a boy...
Exactly a young boy like that Japanese one.
Shouts and yells of people running around, bloods covered ground, women are getting killed by knives, nobody care and nobody help, phill pushed a knife into a woman's skull...
Boom, it was an accident. Rammed a walker when he was in another world, in his old days, they are gone but he will never forget it. His wife, his son...
Didn't stop the car and continued driving.
At this time he is thinking about that why he didn't tell her about the Canada. About that big camp, he told her but she thought he is saying bullshit so she ignored it.
After some minutes driving between wrecked cars and old trees, dead bodies, mist and dead walkers, he is near finally.

She stares at the red head. Her words seemed promising. The most promising thing she's heard since she left her house in a fleet of terror and hopelessness.
The girl moves around her, seemingly continuing where she left off. Before they ran into each other.
The young girl doesn't follow at first, she feels odd about the situation. Her mother always warned her about the common stranger. She'd always say, 'Serenity, strangers are not to be trusted. They can be dangerous and you'd have no idea.'
She could feel her mother's presence and words, even if she wasn't here in a human form.
Serenity closed her eyes, opening them back up into a world of terror and destruction. This still wasn't a terrible dream.
Her innocent eyes travel towards the direction where she heard the gun shots. The gray sky spoke perfectly. It looked like it was about to burst with tears at any moment.
Serenity frowned, wiping her eyes from getting too damp. She turned, obediently following the older girl. This was her only chance.

It took a whole seven seconds for Riley’s resolve to start cracking. She glanced back to see if the girl was following. She was. Releasing a breath she hadn’t known she was holding, Riley slackened her pace in order to keep the girl next to her, rather than behind. She glanced back again, looking toward the trees off the side of the road - not knowing that they were being watched from afar. Merely an idle, cautionary glance, then onward.
”You’re new to all this, aren’t you?” She said after a moment, keeping her voice quiet and soft, but somber. With one grimy hand she gestured vaguely to the air, indicating the world around them. ”This apocalypse @#$%. Zombies an’ raiders. It’s all new t’you, ain’t it?” Clearly it was. Riley nodded knowingly, accepting this as best she could. Her situation was only growing worse by the moment - with each second that passed she felt herself slipping more and more into the trap of ‘emotional attachment’.
Another moment of silence passed between them. The only sound was the virtually inaudible patter of their quiet footsteps, and the wind through the treetops to either side of the highway. She glanced to the girl’s incongruous bunny slippers. Those would have to go. They could stop by a shop in the next town they came across and scavenge up some sneakers or something and - oh God, she was already thinking in terms of looking out for two-!
”They’re not…’men’. Not anymore.” She explained, quietly, not looking at the kid - mostly to distract herself from the deadly pitfall she was plunging into in her mind. ”The ones ‘at r’all dead lookin’ an’ act like wild animals an’ hurt folk. They ain’t human. They’ monsters.” She spoke almost without inflection, not hamming anything up. Merely stating facts and cold, hard truths, hoping that her quiet voice might help ease the blows she was delivering. ”Y’stay away from ‘em no matter what.”
Three rounds barked in the distance - that revolver again. Riley winced, adding with a hint of frustration that did not seem to be directed at her small companion ”They’re attracted t’loud noises like. So always stay’s quiet’s y’can, a’ight? I mean, oit’s okay’a talk an’ whatev’, but don’t ever shout ‘less you really need’a. Loud noises is dangerous.”
They pushed on. Riley ducked under a long car that was precariously perched atop two others, creating an unnerving arch in what had clearly been a very improbable collision. Since the little one would likely hesitate to follow, she turned, crouching, and held out a hand. Silently, her resolve to stay detached continued dissipating as she helped the kid through to the other side.
”There’s still some people what ain’t zombies yet.” She went on as she got back to her feet, stepping around an overturned cabover Peterbilt, sidling along the tipped trailer, which had long been emptied of whatever treasures it once may have held. ”But don’t trust ‘em either. Most of ‘em’s bad folk like.”
Again, she glanced back at the kid. This time, her heart melted. It was the look on the little girl’s face as she told her all of the horrible, heinous truths of the world without trul realizing how hard it all must be hitting her. Riley’s resolve had slipped out from under her feet with disturbing ease. Her humanity had apparently been begging to return, and seeing the opportunity it had pounced on her mind.
Cursing silently in her head, RIley slowed down just a little more.
Well, she thought wryly, she had always sory of wanted a little sister.
The redhead put one arm around the kid’s shoulders and gave her a little squeeze, holding it for a few seconds. ”It ain’t fun out ‘ere but you jus’ stick close t’ya big sis Riley an’ you’ll be a’ight.” She looked the kid in the eye, gave a little smile that was almost encouraging - though deeply troubled. She was making a terrible mistake. She knew it, and she was helpless to stop herself.
”What’s y’name, anyway, kid?”
There was just enough time for the younger girl to answer, and the older girl to say ”’At’s a nice name.” Before a sound caught Riley’s attention and she froze, perking up whirling to look behind her not unlike a dog who had just heard a squirrel - but with a grim look on her face. She held up a loosely pointed finger, indicating for the child to remain still and quiet, passively hoping she understood the gesture.
She strained her ears.
Not just one sound. two.
And what was more troubling: One from either side of the road.
From behind was a soft, slight wooshing sound. The gentle whirring of a bike chain and tires on soft earthen grass. From the other side, the distant purr of an engine that cut off suddenly.
Riley’s heart leaped in dread. Her mouth went dry and she tasted the coppery tang of anxiety. Already the attachment she’d gotten herself roped into was making her life difficult, since before she’d have just reacted with swift animal efficiency, and now she had the kid to worry about too.
An ambush!!
It was the only possibility she could comprehend. The old man and the Asian guy were trying to trap her between them! And hardly seconds after she’d decided to take on the little kid and invest herself emotionally. Figures.
Shoving the kid down and leaving her as bait was out of the question now that Riley was suddenly feeling like a human being again. She had gone from totally disconnected to helplessly attached in minutes and that was not good - but there was no helping it now. If she left the little kid behind she’d never forgive herself.
Riley’s mind raced. What could she do to teg herself and her little friend away from the two people that she was now convinced wanted to kill her and take her stuff...or worse?
One of them was waiting in the car up ahead. One of them was coming up from behind on a bicycle, riding alongside the road. Frantically, she whirled to either side, searching for escape routes. She evaluated her options:Charge into the woods and risk running right into the bicycle rider’s line of fire? Or run across the median to the other lane and charge into the woods on that side? A better plan, except that they would be sitting ducks out in the open grass between lanes.
Then the answer hit her. It wasn’t a great answer but it was all she had time for.
Abruptly, Riley grabbed the little girl by the hand or wrist or arm - whatever - and doubled back toward the overturned trailer. "C'mon!" SHe hissed quietly enough that only the girl would be likel to hear. She could not yet see either of the men, meaning they had not yet seen her. There was still time.
Wasting no time, Riley hoisted the little girl up into the back of the trailer, the doors of which were parted, but not unhinged. The forty eight foot box loomed dark before the two girls as Riley scrambled in behind her small companion and hastily yanked the door shut behind them so that only a narrow sliver of light passed through.
But she wasn’t done yet - convinced that they might still be found, she ushered her little friend (Who probably didn't actually trust her at all, when she thought about it) hastily to the rear of the trailer, stepping carefully over broken pallets and discarded scraps of cellophane. The trailer was well insulated, so hardly any sound would get in or out.
once they were in the dark recesses of the trailer, Riley unshouldered her rifle, got down onto the floor next to her friend, and leveled the gun over an upturned pallet for stability, aiming it down the length of the trailer toward the doors hich hung just barely ajar.
And in the stifling darkness and silence where the only sound was their breathing, she waited. Waited for them to pass, or to check the trailer - in which case she wouldn’t hesitate to blow their heads off.
She might have trusted the two just a little bit before - but now that Serenity was with her all bets were off. In a matter of minutes a fierce, brutal protective instinct had kicked in - fierce and brutal enough, maybe, to make her a little unhinged?
”You’re new to all this, aren’t you?” She said after a moment, keeping her voice quiet and soft, but somber.
Notices something between mist, you know in this world you can't even trust your eyes when they are seeing something, because it may be a walker or something like that, also there is some blood dropped on the front glass that can reduce the glance consideration.
Stops the car at the place that he saw the shadow in the mist, takes a deep breath in the car, he is sure that she is right here because he knows that girl isn't that stupid to go back towards those zombies near gas stations also that Japanese boy is chasing her from behind so there is no way and she has to choose one, meet with us or meet with zombies.
From the first moment until now he didn't want to make her scared but the world changed now so people changed too. They don't usually trust guys like this because all of the people like him are DEAD.
Clears the sweat on his forehead and exactly when he reached for his pistol, he stopped himself, said to himself "You can choose, the easy way or the hard way? You changed."
Didn't take his gun and without any weapon except his machete he steps out of his vehicle very slow, he is completely sure she is here that's why he is trying to be normal. By the way that's really how he is.
What is that?
New footsteps are on the ground and it can prove it to him that she is here but at this time Phill noticed something near the combat boot footsteps on the grasses. Ye, it was a smaller footstep, but why?
She was alone, ain't she?
At this time he suddenly gets an idea about leaving them here,... But no...Zombies probably will be in those places because of gunshots and also the car engine will bring them here too, so phill...Now or never.
Save them or it will be a dark point in your life...
He is sure about that they are around because footsteps ended near this location and it's fresh. Also, she is not that idiot to choose other directions and face to the huge groups of zombies to waste bullets and risk her life, or maybe his little friend.
Leans against the car hood, makes his old tired voice a bit louder and starts talking...
"I know! .... I know you are somewhere around here, and I know you can hear me, so listen. No one tried to hurt you until now,... Uh- let me make it clear, we didn't want to.
I dunno what you think about me, but I was a human, exactly like you, I'm trying to be like that again even for the last day of life.
Hey listen, I know you don't trust me, and you can't trust me, its the same thing between us.
But if we want to stay alive, or maybe see tomorrow, we have to work together...
That....- that brochure .... I saw that camp, I know that still exists. Those walls can't get destroyed by anything, trust me, I have to reach there, if you help me, then you will be safe, with your little friend. It's the only way."
Stops leaning against the car, walks towards the car door slowly, "You can come with me if you want, but you should be hurry because they are coming!"

After some minutes of riding a bicycle, he finally arrived and saw the old man leaning back to his car, he waited there and tried to see the girl but he couldn't see anything in that mist so he stopped the bicycle and stood on foot.
He knew that the girl is around because he saw nothing, the old man saw nothing, and if she would've gone the other way they would hear the sound of a gunshot because the other way was full of those walkers since he distracted them that way and that was impossible to go that way and avoiding gunshot. While the old man saw tracks of that girl and her companion he made sure that they are around here somewhere.
While the old man was talking he started to think about his past but no matter how hard he was trying, he couldn't remember a thing, the only past he had was with these people and nothing else.
After the old man speech was over he started to talk and said "i...didn't remember a thing from past. You know that's hard not to remember anything. I don't have a single clue who I was and what I did" then after a few seconds of Hesitating to tell them about the dead body in his car trunk or not, he started to crying a little bit and said with a sad voice"I have a dead body back of my car, and I have the same picture of it in my pocket and I don't know who the hell she was. He got killed with a bullet in his head and I... I don't know who I am or who I was or what I did or ... Or anything else. I just remember nothing. And I'm not gonna portend like I'm a good guy or something, no that's not me and no one is completely perfect what I'm trying to say is you guys are my only memories and I don't wanna lose any memories any more, the walkers gonna be here soon or later and you can't escape from them. At least not with a companion, yea I know about your friend and it must be a valuable friend to you cuz we both know you not gonna take anyone with you. So if you are staying here and wanna fight them instead of coming with us, I'm also staying here cuz I don't wanna leave any people behind cuz you guys are the only people I know"
After a long speech, he took out his SMG gun and reload it and made her voice more clear and said "I'm ready, it's your call, now or never"

She listens to the girl quietly, only making small conversation.
Strangers were untrustworthy, she decided to herself. Although she felt that Riley was a good person. One that could be trusted.
As Riley explained everything, the little girl felt herself still confused. Why was this all happening and why now?
She swallowed her question and continued walking until Riley stopped. “What’s wr-?” Serenity was about to ask.
She hushed herself, seemingly hearing the same thing Riley was. A bicycle and the engine of a car. Both sounded near and Riley seemed... scared.
Riley grabbed the girl’s arm and quickly got her into a trailer nearby.
Serenity watched her quick actions as she pulled out a large gun and aimed it towards the door.
Both were quiet and the small girl felt a lump in her throat.
Her throat tightened as soon as she heard a mans voice coming from outside.
If Riley apparently didn’t trust him, then neither did she.

In the dank silence and darkness of the overturned trailer, Riley listened. The stock of the rifle rested steadily upon the upturned pallet, held in place by one hand which gripped the trigger almost madly. With her other hand, she wrapped an arm around her little friend's shoulders and gave a little squeeze - knowing both that the darkness and cramped quarters must be stressful in itself, let alone atop the perilous nature of what they were facing - and anything she could do to keep the kid quiet would be helpful.
She listened. She heard the old man make his speech. It was a pretty good one, she decided.
But not good enough to break through her paranoia. Not good enough to convince her that it wasn't all some mad scheme to catch her off guard. She felt like a fool for having helped them in the first place.
She listened. She heard the younger guy - the guy who was probably ten years older than herself - make his speech. Quite dramatic. Too dramatic, she decided. In her mind, a picture began to form of what was happening. It was him she didn't trust. The one who had simply woken up and stumbled in on them. It was the Asian guy she didn't trust. He was giving some sort of sob story? No - she didn't trust him half as far a she could throw him - and she was starting to think that he was manipulating the old man, maybe forcing him to comply with his scheme.
Well Riley wasn't having it. She wasn't falling for it. She would gladly take her chances with the undead than risk trusting even a little in that evil bastard. She loathed him. The scheming @#$%!
If zombies were coming, she could avoid them. That was just about her greatest skill, staying out of their way, staying quiet, staying hidden and avoiding battles. The way she saw it, she had a better chance of surviving the undead than she did of surviving treachery.
She let the two men speak their pieces, and she said nothing. She did nothing - nothing but give her little friend a squeeze about the shoulder and keep the rifle aimed steadily at the slightly ajar trailer door. Her plan: To wait in silence, and hope they'd go away...

Stays for some few seconds like 40, without getting any answer from her these seconds passed and uphill lost his hopes for it...
He heard what that Japanese boy said so he won't leave them alone.
Doesn't really know what to do, if he leaves them here, fighting against a big horde with a little friend who probably can't fight will be impossible so its like he killed both of them right here.
Turns his gaze towards Japanese boy, waits for him to decide and tell phill what to do.
He doesn't usually ask anyone about what he is going to do, but its a team work so they will work, decide, and fight together.

After some seconds of waiting for girl to answer or anything, he saw nothing from her even though he knew that she's here and can hear what they are saying, so again he started to talk " you don't have any idea what surrounded us do you? They are more than what you think, you might not have the chance to escape from them yourself and now you have a campnion! You are being selfish to this you know because of you, if I would have arrived just a few seaconds later, this old man would have died and it's only because of you." after saying this he went over the car and took the 2 other SMG guns out of it and said "well, guess we're about to fight. I told you I'm not gonna leave"
it's been two years since he joined this group. something around 20 of any kind of people. they were heading to Canada.
one day, when he was at sleep, suddenly he woke up cause of a horrible scream. he wasn't so sure if it was real or just he was dreaming but someone opened his tent abruptly and told him "hey, you must help us. the zomb..." but at that moment a zombie bite his throat in front of Leo and he was just gazing at him. he got out of his tent and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. a big horde of zombies were there...
he was just hearing screams and moaning. unfortunately 5 of their armed men had left the camp for hearing some gun shots about some minutes ago. he killed some of walkers with his handmade bow but they were getting closer so he picked up his stuff. not such a stuff just some arrows and his fathers pipe. then he ran into the woods.
after running 1 mile still the zombies were just behind him. suddenly he saw a car and two men. an old man and an Asian guy. so he decided to talk to them and warn them about zombies "hey guys, a dozen of walkers a' headin' this way an' they're gettin' closer. it seems you have car. so if you wouldn't mind, may i come with you?"
there was just silence everywhere for moments but a zombie got close enough to attract their attentions. in a moment Leo shoot an arrow right on the zombies left eye and shouted this time "what are you wating for? they are already here. we should get goin'
and still silence...

Raises his machete, takes out his pistol from his pocket and makes himself ready for another fight, probably they are more than before.
The plan of this Japanese boy failed, and that horde couldn't make this girl come with them, so they are here, and here is the fight, nothing is a matter when there's no way to escape, maybe she wants this fight to kill them all too, but now let's focus on it, wait...what was that?
For a moment world just stopped again for him, a guy with a handmade bow just arrived at this place, without anything more he started talking to them and Phil was about to say "What the hell?!". But he remains quiet. Aims his pistol at that warrior's head, just wanted to make sure he is not one of those bandits, examines him from head to toe. Yes! He is a warrior, exactly the thing that this world needed.
After listening to his words he got that more hordes are coming and its kind of impossible to fight them alone, so I think help is here. Lowers his gun, it doesn't matter if he is lying or not, because of a large group of zombies are near so if that archer is dangerous for them, there's something that is more dangerous for all of them, and that's walkers.
If he is a bandit so he has to fight with those zombies first if he wants to stay alive.
They are in a same game.
The sounds of walkers can be heard from distance, " Incoming, ready for a fight? "asked from Japanese guy.
Behind trees, grasses, and rocks, they start coming from everywhere, moves towards one of them and pushes his machete on his skull, two more came from behind and he just turned around and cut their for their throat.
fresh dead blood dropped on his face and the fight is here.
Uses his machete to fight with them and tries to don't even shoot with his pistol until he really has to.
From every directions, they are coming and if you take a look from the top, it's like dead rising from the hill. After seeing how other guys are fighting and trying to survive he joined them and stopped fighting alone.
He keeps fighting and fighting, after killing like ten or more of them. Notices they are going to be more so he signals to the group, " OVER HERE!" shouts with his tired voice, walks towards the car, suddenly he remembers the Japanese boy words "We are not leaving".
He jumps on the car with help of stepping on the car hoot, helps other guys to step on it, they can't continue fighting on the ground anymore because it may make them in siege and the end.
Keeps fighting them on the car , they can't reach there and they are safe, but not for a long time, Phill won't be hopeless again, not again...
Keeps fighting. Hits them right in the head and after thet another one replaces it. It will never ended.

Kibaro was ready for walkers to come and no matter how many of them are out there he just wanted to kill them all and smash their head he was ready for it... But all of the sudden he heard some voice from his behind saying something. He turned around and saw a guy with an ordinary face but some fancy armor and a handmade bow and some arrow, he figured that he's some kind of hunter or at least something like that but what does a hunter doing here? In the middle of this dead world how a hunter can handle himself with some handmade bow? He probably is a member of a group. The thing that made him worry and made his trust less than expected.
Although there was a stranger among them and he just couldn't trust him no matter what, but there was no time to waste now that they are surrounded by walkers. Said to the new guy with his cold voice "we must do what we're about to do, and it's your choice to help us or either and if you try to do anything wrong I'll blow your head off"
After settling things with the new guy the battle begins at first he used his SMG guns to kill walkers as many as possible, after shooting something around 2 round of magazine he noticed they are more than expected and if they would have left the girl wasn't able to escape at all even without his companion.
While fighting he had to think of something about their high number, he noticed the old man saying "over here"
Going at the roof of the car so the deads can't reach them was a smart plan. Even when they went on the roof of the car they weren't safe and they were surrounded but he didn't lose his spirit and still he was fighting with his machete, they number was reduced one by one but they were a lot. Without any help, they would have died until the night or at least this was what kibaro thought.
He said to himself "can't actually believe I'm dying for this girl, I don't know after all her life might be more valuable than mine" but didn't lost his hope and kept killing those in hope that the girl would come and save them.
Good luck! ))
She glanced over the edge of the river bank, it was rather steep. She needed to cross to the other side but dreaded having to get soaked to do so. She stepped on the muddy bank, which was much more slick than she had anticipated, and roughly slipped down into the murky waters below, a chill going up her spine as she splashed into the cold water.
Her jacket had tangled in thorns and branches that lined the river, she could feel them poking into her back and she struggled to get loose.
Something wrapped around her ankle and she froze, looking down to see the watery figure of something submerged down under. As her imagination went wild she let out a frightened yelp, attempting to avoid screaming. She didn't want any unwanted attention, especially in this situation.
She kicked whatever it was off of her ankle with her other foot and for a moment she let out a sigh of relief, until it wrapped around her ankle again, with a tighter grip.
She thrashed around, quickly untying her jacket before sloshing into the water waist deep, she kicked her ankle free and full steamed to the other side of the river bank and scaling the side as fast as she could.
She took a deep breath and looked back at her tangled jacket....was it worth it to go and get it? She wrapped her arms around herself, feeling a little exposed without the thick coat weighing down on her. She sighed and decided to move forward without it.
