Maria smiled. "I'll go set another place at the table, then." She went downstairs cheerfully, while Roland looked at Josephine calmly. "Hmm." He took a couple steps towards her, then stopped with still respectable distance between them and put his hands in his pockets. "Something's different about you." he said, his tone low, but calm. "Things happen around you that don't happen to normal people, Josephine." He lifted a hand out to take off his glasses and quirk a brow at her. "What secrets are you hiding?" he murmured.
Joli nodded a little. "Thanks."
Then Roland started being weird again. She looked back to him, frowning. What in the hell, man?? She stared at him shocked for a moment at how bold and intrusive he was being, not to mention rude. "Excuse me?" She frowned deeper, obviously this offended her. How dare he do that, question her on secrets and telling her things happened around her that didn't around others. He was one to talk.
"What secrets am I hiding? Are you being serious right now?" She scoffed lowly, but felt another wave of nausea hit her. After a moment she looked from the ground to him. "Or are you in over-protective mode." Lame ass excuse to use for chasing someone like you were going to hurt them. "You know what, I don't think it's any of your business." She said sharply, turning to enter into the room to get her shoes back on and find her wallet. "I'm leaving." With that said, she took the wallet from the table and pocketed it, leaving the room and moving past him, attempting to reach the stairs.
Blaise didn't say anything, rather he followed. Roland was strange~

Roland turned towards his room. "Think about your strange little blackout, then tell me if I'm serious or not." He put his glasses down on the desk. "You're staying for supper, Josephine. Maria would be heartbroken if you didn't, you know." He let her go down the stairs first, then he'd follow behind lazily. Maria heard them coming and poked her head out. "Table's all set! I hope the meal is okay, Josephine. If you don't like anything, you just let me know and I'll fix up something else for you." She chuckled softly. "I don't often get to cook for anyone other than Roland, and he'll eat whatever you put in front of him." Roland smirked and sat down. "Maria, don't start telling my students all about my personal life."
Maria lifted a spoon at him. "I can tell them whatever I please, Ro. You never bring anyone home, so what else am I supposed to talk about?" Roland stuck his tongue out at her, and she did the same to him. It was almost comical, the two adults doing this. Maria giggled afterwards and sat down. "Take a seat wherever you'd like, Josephine!"

Joli turned on her heel once she got to the bottom of the stairs. "I don't have to stay for anything." She said, scowling up at him, then was about to continue and yell, but Maria showed up. Joli remained quiet, standing there, staring up at Roland, before she looked to the woman.
She didn't care about this, didn't care that Maria didn't get to see many other people, or that she couldn't cook for others and they didn't get guest. That's why you didn't live out in the forest. That wasn't her fault. She shouldn't be made to feel guilty over it. Roland was being so... She didn't know! Joli couldn't even come up with a word to describe how infuriating he was being.
Joli didn't say anything just yet. She was furious at Roland. It was none of his business what so ever about her and her life. She didn't know what to think about the blacking out. It was troublesome and upsetting. Roland didn't help any. A huff was given. "Sure..." She moved to the table and sat down, staring a hole through it for a moment, then started to eat the soup that had been placed before her.

Maria smiled at her. "Just let me know if you need anything more, Josephine." She started eating, and so did Roland. Roland didn't say much, so finally Maria did. "So Josephine, how are you feeling about school so far? Meet anyone interesting, have any fun classes? And no, you don't have to say Roland's class is fun. History is boring." She giggled, and Roland frowned at her. "It is not boring, it's incredible." Maria lifted a hand. "Don't go off on your historical rants, Ro. I don't want to fall asleep at the dinner table." Roland rolled his eyes and kept eating, and Maria winked at Josephine.
She decided not to be entirely rude within their house. Not because of Roland, because quite frankly he could F-off, but for Maria. She was being nice and not as nosy as Roland was.
Joli looked to her, nodding a bit, then ate quietly until questioned. "I don't really know. It's school.. It's like a job, not really supposed to be fun." She sipped at the tea given to her and glanced to Roland. "It's not a bad class.." It was helpful in learning some things about the dead.. Then again a greater portion of events were just made up, because nobody actually knew what happened during them.. Except those present. Joli could find that info out as well.
"I guess I enjoy the writing class." Not really, but it was something. She opted out on answering about meeting anyone interesting. She was not interested in such things, therefore it did not matter. She gave a soft smile, trying to come off nicer.. The sooner this was over, the sooner she could go home.

Maria smiled. "Well, for school, sounds like it's going well. I never really enjoyed school either. And Ro, well, he was absent most of the time." Roland glanced up. "Maria..." he said warningly. She ignored him and smiled at Josephine like she was sharing some big secret, speaking in a slightly hushed tone. "You wouldn't believe it, for how strict he seems to be now, hm? He was such a punk. He was always coming home beat up and bloody. Mom and dad always said he was the reason we didn't have more siblings." She giggled. "I'm still amazed he was able to get a teacher's degree, since he missed half of his high school years. Of course, he did start going straight after Jasmine."
Roland spoke up, louder and firmer. Almost angry. "Maria. ENOUGH." Maria blinked, and settled into her seat with a sigh. "Sorry, Roland." He finished eating and stood up. "I've got work to do. Will you make sure Josephine gets home safe?" Maria nodded, and he left, going upstairs. "Sorry about that, Josephine." she said quietly. "I guess it's still sore for him... I was hoping he was starting to finally move on."

It was really odd. She didn't know why Maria was telling her all of this. It wasn't like Joli actually cared, but she showed interest as to not be rude, giving a small nod of her head. Honestly she could see that he was a trouble maker..
He never let that go, despite how he was now. He was a trouble maker and a busybody and she didn't like it. He would make her time hard as a necromancer, she was sure.. Then again she didn't know what ALL that entailed, so.. As of now she just was really unhappy about him.
When he rose his voice, she jumped a bit, setting back in the chair and staring. He was so aggressive.. She didn't like it, but she didn't say anything about it. When he left, Joli looked back to Maria; frowning and setting forward a bit. "Its okay.. " She was not interested in the slightest on who Jasmine was. It would probably be told to her, as that seemed to be a habit as of late.
"Can I go home now, Maria?" She questioned quietly. "I.. I have a lot that I need to get done." She still needed to go and do her laundry at the Laundromat and shopping.. That'd probably have to be done tomorrow. "Thank you for the dinner."

Maria smiled gently. "Of course. I'll take you home. Do you need to stop anywhere on the way there?" She stood up and started putting things away. "It's no problem, sweetheart. I just hope you feel better soon, you gave us quite a scare." She got everything cleaned up, then got her car keys. "Alright, let's get you home." She went and got in the car with her, stopping anywhere Joli wanted to stop before reaching her home. "Be sure to get some rest, okay? Hope you feel better soon." Maria smiled, then made sure she was inside before she drove off.
Joli nodded. "Thanks." Once in the car, she'd go to the gas station, get some things to last her the night, as well as some job ads, then they would go home.
Once out of the vehicle she turned and stared at Maria for a moment. "Thank you for the ride." She said quietly and then turned for the apartment, pushing through the door and heading for the staircase.
Sunday went by like a blur.. She got most of her chores done, but was still sick. More letters came, but she ignored them, sleeping mid day from Sunday all the way until Monday morning. Ugh.. School. She didn't want to go, because of Roland, but.. She didn't need troubles.
Blaise acted as her alarm clock, waking her. She pulled herself out of bed and collected her uniform, getting it on and heading off, back to school. She dreaded it.
"If you hate it so much, why do you keep going?" He questioned, following her closely. "Because it's just one more year. After that, I don't need to worry with it. Better to get it done now and finish.. I can get better jobs as well." MMaybe, but that was subjective. Blaise shrugged a bit. "Seems like a waste of time, but okay. What do you think of that Roland fellow? Your teacher." He smiled some. "Ugh.. Blaise, drop it, I really don't want to talk about him or think about him." She seriously disliked the man. Or was starting to.
She quieted herself as she reached the school and hopefully things would go quiet all day.

Roland was there when she got to class, and he smiled slightly. "Hey. Are you feeling any better?" He just focused on cleaning up his papers and making sure everything was in order for the class to start. He made smalltalk with the other students as well, and then started class. He taught normally, and class was about halfway through, excitement happened. His phone rang. He blinked. He went to turn it off, but then he saw the number. "Sorry kids, emergency. Study chapters one and two, and no playing around! I'll be watching through the door." He hurried out of the classroom and stood in the hallway, talking quietly on his cell.
Soon though, he was gone from the door, and a different teacher came in. "Hey everyone, I'll be supervising for the remainder of the class. Professor Lyall had a family emergency."

Joli frowned a bit, but nodded. "Somewhat." She turned and went for her seat, relaxing into it. This was the last class.. Then she'd go home.
Things were quiet until that phone call happened. Joli sat back a bit in her seat and tried to catch some of the conversation, but couldnt really hear anything. It was hard not to be curious. He had some sort of secret that he was hiding and she was still fairly sore from his comment on saturday. That upset her.. She felt like she wanted something on him, but then again didn't actually care enough.. At least she thought she didn't, but as the teacher was coming in, she had gotten up to leave.
"I have to go to the restroom." She brushed past them and moved down the hall as quickly as she could with her bag in tow. It wouldn't be long before she was trying to find where Roland went. She hoped she could learn more about what was up with him, despite her slight disdain for him.

Roland was getting into his car. He drove off quickly. It seemed like he was going the direction of his house. Towards the woods. After all, not much else was out that way. But that's why he lived there. When he got to his house, he pulled up and parked. "Maria!" he called. She came out of the doorway. "By the glade, Roland. Hurry up before the stupid idiots kill themselves!"
Roland nodded and took off running through the forest. Sheesh. Being alpha was so obnoxious. Halfway through his running, he started pulling off his clothes. Finally, he shifted. It was faster this way, and with what was going on, he needed to be in this form anyways.

Joli had no idea where he was driving off to.. She frowned a bit and leaned against a building, looking into the distance for the forest.. It felt reasonable enough. After some mental convincing, she ran again. Blaise didn't speak during this time, rather he just went with her. It didn't feel like such a good idea, but who was he to complain.
Eventually she reached the forest, frowning deeply. Should she really be doing this? Going back to him.. or following him. It felt like a bad idea, but something said go ahead, live a little.. Try to find out why your teacher was a colossal creep.
She stood there, then started off again, cutting through it. Eventually she started coming across his clothing.. First a shoe, then another.. Socks.. His pants. She stopped by this point and just stared at the trail. Really? This is what he did? This was so important.. Get naked and run in the woods. She shivered from how gross that felt and turned to leave, but.. Found that she was lost now.. "For christ sake.."

Joli was lost, but not alone. Suddenly a growl was heard and a grey-furred wolf came out from the bushes. The beast started towards her and growled, watching her carefully. But it didn't attack. Which...was odd, for a wolf. Wasn't it? The beast looked at the clothes scattered nearby, and then looked at her and gave another growl.
Joli regretted a lot of things in her life.. Not trying harder in school, being a freak, being rude and mean sometimes.. But this was one of those things that she really regretted. Ever coming to the forest in the first place. She could have stayed in school and went home, but something wouldnt let her.
Maybe deep down she was worried about Roland, or at least worried what he may do. He was a strange man and she wanted to learn more about him. She would never admit these things, but the girl's mind was a very interesting thing.
The wolf was stared at with wide eyes, while she slowly backed away. "O.. Okay.. Don't come any closer." She said quietly, glancing behind her and then around. She couldnt see the path the took to get here.. This was bad. Very bad. "Blaise.. I.. I don't know what to do."
"Unless you want to risk bludgeoning it to death, I think it'd be wise for you to run and climb a tree or something, Joli. There is nothing, as a necromancer that you can do." He frowned to himself. "So Im forced to deal with this and nothing good comes of it? That's bullshit." She growled to herself, still backing away slowly, stepping over Roland's pants.. Maybe he was eaten by wolves and she was next. Strange how curiosity actually could get you killed.

The wolf huffed softly and kept approaching her, head tilting slightly when she talked. It growled and started quickening its pace, going towards her faster. Trying to make her run away, though she didn't know that. The wolf growled louder. But in the distance, growling and noises of a fight, not a human one, could be heard. Something was going on. There was barks and yipping. More wolves?
"Don't bitch at me about it, Joli. I didn't choose this for either of us" He retorted, rolling his eyes.
"Don't start with me Blaise. You are being incredibly useless right now." She jumped back when the wolf came closer, faster, then turned to run. She would have called out for Roland, but she could hear other wolves and did not want to be murdered by them at all..
"Do you think he's still alive?" Blaise questioned with a frown, but Joli didn't know what to really say to that. "I do.. Don't know." She glanced behind her to see that the wolf wasn't following, but just kept running. Nooo no no. She was not going to fall for that 'I just wanted to play' bs.
"Are you going to check out that place the letters keep talking about?" Joli really didn't know what else to do. She wanted to just go home, but maybe it was wiser to go there instead, to at least see the location. "I might as well.."

The wolf chased only for a couple moments, then quickly turned back. However, Joli wasn't going to luck out. Suddenly three wolves burst out on the path in front of her, biting and clawing at each other. The fight had come to her! And by no effort of theirs. Joli didn't exactly know where she was going, after all. The wolves were attacking each other ferociously, and suddenly a sandy-furred wolf burst into the scene. Slightly bigger than others, he growled loudly and slammed into the fighting group.
The group split apart quickly, then he growled and barked at them. He whapped each of them in the head with his paw, and they settled, becoming a little...submissive. And then suddenly, the wolf turned towards Joli and let out a ferocious growl.

She would be checking that place out.. If she knew how to get out of here. Sadly she didn't so there was that. "I don't like being lost in the forest." she said with a sigh. "Yeah well you did a real good job of avoiding that one. Why did you even go after him anyway?"
"Shut up, Blaise. I told you not touoh JESUS." She jumped back when the wolves burst from in front of her. "Now you're running into them. Don't you have any sense of direction!?" He flew further back as she backpedaled until she fell. "BLAISE I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP. Why do you have to be such an asshole!?" She screamed at him then her attention went on the wolves and she looked for something, preferably large so she could defend herself.. "I give what I get, Joli." He admitted, then floated forward and attempted to distract the large one. His apparition was seen a bit better in the vicinity of Joli, perhaps using all the energy created by the stress she received to appear to the larger one.. Not to mention the fact he was a wolf, he could probably sense him in some way.
He swung at the larger one, though he was a ghost and it did nothing.. Joli in the meantime continued to look around her, finding a sizable stick that she could maybe use.. Probably wouldn't bludgeon it to death, but she could try.
