The wolf growled at Blaise, then trotted over to Joli. He lowered his shoulder and bumped her with it, knocking her onto his furry back, then he started running. She would need to hold on or fall off! And falling off would be painful. The wolf was careful though, to make sure that she wasn't falling off. Soon, they reached...the edge of the forest. He tilted, rolling her off his back. Then he huffed, and ran back into the forest.

Blaise should have known that it wouldnt have done anything. Joli was preparing to hit the wolf with the stick when he did something unexpected, Like running into her so she fell onto it's back. "Wha.." Then it took off running. The stick was dropped so that she could clench onto the fur. "No, no no.. This is-" Then she was dumped off and left there.. At the edge of the forest.

Normal people would have gotten up and left, but Joli just sat there, staring ahead. "This is unbelievable.. First im forced to see ghosts and now wild animals are helping me.." She covered her face. "My life is so screwed up.."

"Well that was unexpected." Blaise said, watching her for a moment, while she apparently cried. "Ah... It's okay Joli. Maybe it'll get better.." Nope, probably not.

Soon, a voice was heard. "...Josephine? Are you okay?" It was Roland! Standing there, a bit scraped up, and fully clothed. "Is something wrong?" He crouched down. "...did you have another blackout?" He sounded really concerned about her. "Do you need me to walk you back home?" He had a small cloth in his hand, which he was holding to his neck. Which was bleeding. Not badly, but bleeding. He wasn't going to give any answers though unless she asked questions.

Joli lowered her head to her knee's and remained there, sitting up with her knee's to her chest and her head down for some time.. Even after Roland spoke. "I don't know. I.. I just don't. She shook her head a bit. "I didn't have another blackout." She looked up to him, staring. He looked alive, but he was bleeding.. And he was back in his clothes.

She didn't want to know to be honest. "N.. No, I'm fine.. I'm not heading home." She probably should, since she was in her school clothes, but she didn't care. She had to check that location out before she went home, so she could plan a bit better on what she'd do. She slowly got up and frowned. What was happening???

Blaise had no answers, rather he made lewd comments instead, which made Joli flustered and mad.

Roland was worried. "You don't look fine." Well, he was one to talk! And once he realized that, he sighed and looked down at himself. "...for the record, no I don't get into a fight. Just so you don't go spreading rumors that could lose me my job." He lifted a brow at her. "A family member of mine is...mentally unstable. I'm the only one that can calm him down." He shrugged slightly.
"But that doesn't matter. What matters is if you're okay. Do you not feel well, or something?" He was worried! "...you let me know if you need something, okay, Josephine? You have my number, since I'm your teacher and all." He stood up. "Just be careful, okay? I grew up in these woods, but even I know they're dangerous. Make sure you stay here by the edge, alright? People get lost going in there."

(my laptop froze, and when I rebooted and logged in it is giving me a white screen. Dad is trying to fix it right now. I'm freaking out.)

Joli stared at him, not entirely sure what to say. "A.. And you keep him in the woods?" His house was rather deep in.. No way he could have just showed up out of the blue like that. He had to be nearby. She looked to the wound and shook her head. "No.. I'm fine. Just.. Fine. You wouldn't understand.."

Joli turned away and attempted to leave. "Yeah.." She didn't hesitate to start running again. It was all so weird and everything felt horrible. Why was he so damn nice!? Why was she drawn with such curiosity?? It was a crappy situation as a whole.

She wouldn't be heading home, instead she was going to scout that location. Probably a mistake since she was still in uniform, but she might as well live a little. It was in a bad part of town anyway, and it wasn't like she didn't live upon the edge of that portion of town.

Roland chuckled. "Of course not, silly. He lives down the road. I saw you just now, when I was leaving. Are you sure you're alright?" But then she just kind of brushed him off and took off. Roland groaned and rubbed his face. Great. Just great. She was probably definitely....well, definitely onto something. And that was bad. That was very, very bad. He shook his head, then went back into the forest. He had pack matters to take care of.

Tomorrow was going to be awkward. She knew it would be. After scouting out that location, she was ready to go and investigate it, or at least semi ready. She needed more pages and she needed other things, but to see what she was up against would be good.

"You don't think he'll pry do you?" She questioned to Blaise quietly as she entered his class.. This was where it was going to be awkward. "Has he been prying before?" Blaise laughed a bit. "Im not sure though, probably." Joli groaned a bit and sat down, keeping her head down, hoping that he wouldn't speak with her. It was awkward. All of it. Roland was strange and doing SOMETHING in those woods. She didn't want to know what it was, but yet at the same time she did.. and she kept ending up there. Perhaps there were spirits there too. That'd suck as she didn't want to deal with all of this crap.

Roland came over to her before class. "Hey, how are you feeling?" He was worried. "If you need to go to the nurse at any point, just let me know and I'll give you a pass, okay?" He smiled gently, then went back to his desk. He started his lesson, went through it as normal, and then dismissed class when it was time. He watched her as she left, but didn't say anything. He gathered his things, got everything ready, and went out himself. He wanted to keep a secret eye on her, just for now. See where she was heading, if she was going straight home or not.

Joli looked to him, giving a small nod. "Fine.." It was all she said.. Then class started and she went through it as she usually was. Since she quit her job, she had been more punctual to class.. Hardly was she late and she did still try to pay attention, though there were a thousand things on her mind.

Blaise, god bless him, remained silent the entire time so she could work, though at the end of class, he'd remind her of things and pass a few comments here and there.

Joli had no intentions of returning home just yet. No.. Today she needed to really scout that location before anything serious could be done.. She also needed more pages. Since the last few nights, she had just been getting more cryptic letters.

She popped into the girls bathroom down the hall and changed from her school uniform and into her casual clothes, something sturdy and good for her to wear out and about for such a thing.. Which was basically what she generally wore. The school clothes were stuffed in the bag and her locker was visited, the books and things were put in there, but her uniform and bag was kept with her.

Soon she'd be heading for the doors, leaving the school and going for home, though a few street turns and she was far from it, heading deeper into the bad part of town, near where the first fight that she had witnessed with Roland, had been, though it was still further down.

The building was huge, possibly a old printing factory or something, or an apartment block. She couldn't tell so well from the outside. The first floor entirely was boarded up and covered with graffiti, though there was a tall chain link fence leading to the side, where a half decayed and fully rusted fire escape was, zig-zagging up the side of the building.. This was where she needed to be.

A glance over the face of the building and at most of the boarded or broken windows was given, before she started for the fence. She looked around to make sure nobody was around, and would begin to climb. Soon she was up and over, with a bit of struggle, but now she was on the property.. and had a job to sort of do.

Oh man, what trouble has she gotten herself into now?

This was the first thought of Roland as he followed her to the printing factory, and watched her climb the fence. It was like a kid going to a gang meeting. What shady business was she getting herself into now? He sighed and followed along, vaulting over the fence with ease. Werewolf, after all. Even if he was in human form, he was very capable of acrobatic feats. He snuck along through the shadows, keeping a careful eye on his student. There was definitely something going on here.

She stared up at the decayed fire escape, frowning deeply. The first few steps of the ladder were taken slowly before she rushed the climb up. "He's following you." Blaise said offhandedly as he floated ahead. Joli didn't even have to look back to know who it was. She frowned deeply and continued on, rushing up the staircase and to a broken window with no boards over the opening. She grabbed her flashlight from the backpack and peered inside.

The interior was just as bad as the outside. Most of the walls had been torn down and the ones still up were covered in graffiti and crude things. She sighed a bit and climbed inside, slowly making her way from the window. Maybe Roland would give it up and not follow her, but she wasn't so sure he was going to. He had been the sort to not do that as of late.. Mostly she was just really hoping that there were no druggies in here. She didn't want to deal with that. Not today.

Ghosts were bad enough..
