With Tri wrapping up (though I won't be able to watch the last part until Crunchyroll releases it to free users) I'm experiencing a resurgence of love and nostalgia for the Adventure + 02 series. Sadly none of my friends were ever too big into the fandom and I'm jonesing bad for someone to talk to about an old favorite.

Adventure and Adventure +02 weren't my favorites, overall, but I always loved TK, Kari, Patamon, and Gatomon. Then Ken came into the mix and he and Wormmon made the list of faves.
I never had a chance to do anything with her, but I made an OC with a digimon I designed (essentially a time-themed wizimon) waay back in my early dA days. Might have to revisit her and see how cringe-worthy my old notes were; maybe there's something salvageable about her that I could revamp. I really loved the dynamic I had set up between them, though, with her being a somewhat bitter pessimist and him being a quiet, unflappable optimist. I think I had given her Hope as a crest, with the timeline being after TK and the gang were pretty much grown and not going on so many adventures.

Lex, you are a beautiful person.
Gatomon was always a fave of mine, which also met Kari was too (but when my cousins and I played my older cousin always got dibs on her). When I found out about Blackgatomon they became a fave too because I'm not here for that black cat = evil bs. Bonus points for Meicoomon form Tri because she is a cute and fluffy kitty.
I didn't get quite as attached to the 02 kids but I liked that Yolei/Miyako had glasses and I really liked Ken's story arc. Wormmon was such a sweet baby and one of the few bugs I would love to cuddle. (Plus I understand the dubs did Davis/Daisuke dirty.) I also really liked Willis from the Digimon movie.
Fun fact! 'Kado' originally came from my digimon-related self-inset. I don't remember much of anything about the original character-Kado but I took the name for my own and it just became my online alias instead.
ALSO: I know you said the notes are probably cringe-worthy and such but that sounds super interesting!
