Hey, ShadeLT here.

That's not my name, just so you know. I'm a 17 year old guy from Lithuania, an amateur writer (Least, I think so, have a story in the works floating around fictionpress), a roleplayer. Underachiever (That is, I don't try to learn, but still do. Whoops.), can sort of kind of sing (People like my voice, I don't. I dunno.). Oh, and kind of low self-confidence, though it's slowly getting better. I'm comfortable doing a lot of different stuff and always try to do something new. I like the fantasy genre, mainly something similar to the Inheritance Cycle, Harry Potter, Bartimay (Bartimaeus?) Trilogy and, of course, LOTR. I listen mainly to rock, rock operas, metal and... UK hardcore (Yeah. Try figuring that one out. Lemme know the answer when you do.)

Hope I didn't write too much, you don't go TL;DR and you welcome me warmly.

Welcome to RPR! It's really lovely here, there are so many players with different kinds of characters and styles of play. I'm sure you'll find some people who have the same interests as you. (I for one love HP, LOTR, and Rock Opera.) Look around and sift through all the characters, I'm sure you'll find some that catch your eye. There's just too many to not find something

And hey, this is a writing site, don't worry too much about writing too much lol.

I also love the fantasy RP genre. Is the story you are working on also in the fantasy genre?

Well hi there, welcome to the site! I didn't notice your topic at first, but I'm glad to have discovered it now. For someone who describes themselves as having low self-confidence, I am impressed by the number of new things you are willing to try. That takes a certain amount of panache and boldness. Bravo!

I hope (and believe) that you will continue to make some wonderful warm connections with other RPers and writers here if you stick around. Don't ever fear to ask questions, we're all happy to help and won't judge.

Oh, and if you consider yourself a writer, keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of our next weekend chat event, where we will be discussing the finer points of writing craft as it applies (or perhaps sometimes doesn't) to RP itself.

Welcome to RPR! There are a lot of writers here (go figure with roleplay lol) but a group of people do NaNo every year. It was great fun watching the comradery and help they provided each other. If it's something you participate in I'm sure you'll find people who would chat with you about it! The Art & Creativity forum has been home to several posts of FictionPress stories so if you're up to share it might just be the place to go!
