Hi so I'm thinking of modding a low-commitment Warhammer 40k-esque empire-building RP. I know most of us are very busy people and can't post everyday so let me just straight up say that I'm equally busy and frequent posting is not required, although you are welcome to if you happen to be available.
This setting will be set in the distant future, perhaps a few centuries from the 21st. It will be similar but not identical to the Warhammer 40k universe in that it will have psyker mechanics and certain NPC monstrosities (like the Chaos and Tyranids) but other than that you are free to create your own model of empire. Do note that war will be totally banned in the early-game to allow for some sort of status quo to be established, alliances formed, that sort of thing. Only wage war once I give the go-ahead and if the other player accepts.
This ruleset is open to changes that may make the game more fun and/or interesting. Please reply here with a brief outline of your empire if interested.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
