Hi everyone! I'm Am, I've been rping on and off for the last like 7 years but only recently decided to actually join this website. I'm mostly using it as a way to catalogue my characters but I'm also open to new RPs!
A question for all of ya: what do you generally prefer, dice based or open? I often find myself preferring gaming systems with rng involved because it's easier to just go with the flow that way lol

Non-dice for me, although occasionally have rolled a dice or flipped a coin to make difficult decisions!

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I'm not against free form, I just haven't had the opportunity to try it out much. But there's always a new day!

I would say the most popular method of RP here is definitely free form, but of course we support dice-based as well and there are some dice-based groups that play here.

Am^^ i hope you're finding this place pleasant so far and ah, alot of people tend to do that. Or atleast back in the days i've heard since fun fact, this place didnt actully have a rp feature. Only character makeing and such. Or well unless i missunderstood/missread about that xD that is quite possible with me really. Annywaayyyy....to your question hmm....well i dont think i could really answer that one, since i have actully never had a roleplay so far that had this dice feature. But if i had then i think i would perfer it yea. I try to avoid fights and such in rp for that very reason. Because one could always dodge the other ones attack and never get hit if they are stubborn/jerks enough. Though i suppose luck wouldnt really be the same as actual skill but its still better than goin against someone who thinks he or she is invisable and just dose whatever pleases them. Thank fully most people arent like that and will be fair in fights sooo....agian my answer to that question is unsure. xD
