The leader laughed evilly but stopped when Mai pressed the knife harder against her pale skin, it broke some skin but the leader still lived. "What did you do with the other half of the orb?" She hissed in the leader's ear.

"It is hidden some where that you will never find it no matter how long you search for it." Mai was losing her patitence with the leader and press the blade deeper in her skin, blood was now rolling down Jennsis's neck. "Tell us."

"In you're heart." She smriked at the surprise in Mai's red eyes. It had to be impossible for half the orb be hidden in her own heart. "Shocking, isn't it, Mai? The only way to remove it is to remove your worthless heart. You never noticed that your power had increased very much. I wanted this war to be far between us but now I am at a disavnaged."

That was it. Mai slit the leader's throat, and let her dead body fall to the ground with a loud thump. Her hands were shaking at the thought that the leader had planted half of the orb in her heart.

"I don't detect any powerful magic from you, and the magic already inside of you is not nearly as immense as this. Besides, how would she have gotten it in your body?" Lucas says, tapping Mai's forehead. With the leader dead, the barrier had disengaged, and Lucas now stared at the dead body. "We should probably get out of here before anybody else comes up here before anybody else comes here. Who exactly was she, anyway?"

Mai took in a deep breath, calming herself down. "It is easy for her to get anything where she wants it. She could've sealed off the power of it so it couldn't be deceted." She looked back down at the dead leader and sighed. "She was the leader of the witch clan. We need to get out, now!" She shifted back into a ribon and flew out the window, waiting outside for Lucas.

Lucas grows ghostly, yet angelic looking wings and flies outside along with Mai. "I meant what was her name. I don't know anybody with magic that can teleport objects. I can teleport myself because I technically have a mass of zero. Where should we go?"

"Jennsis was her name. Just follow me." Mai began to fly back to the field, right over the city of London, her small wings moving quickly to get them back sooner.

Lucas easily kept up with Mai's ribon form as he glided over London, following Mai as he admired the landscape.

Mai finally landed in the grassy field near her house. She shifted back into her usual form, the wind brushing her long brown hair out of her eyes.

Lucas lands as well, the angelic wings folding back and disintegrating into the air. "Now that you've had your revenge, what will you do now? I doubt that you can just go back and they will welcome you with open arms, not after you did that to their leader. And we're still not sure about the second piece of the orb." Lucas pointed out.

Mai sighed. "I don't want to be a part of them. I killed their leader to weaken them for the war that is coming. I have plans to make now, and we will see another time if she was telling the truth about the orb or not."

Lucas sighs and looks at the horizon, beyond Mai's house. "I was going to say something about being sorry for pulling you into this, but I suppose I just gave you a nudge. It's quite evident that you held a grudge against Jennsis, although I am not aware what. I am curious, but I will not pry." Lucas remains silent for a moment, then stares at Mai's face, saying, "If you are not with the witches or the wizards, then who are you for?"

Mai looked up at the sky with a thoughtful experssion on her face. "I'm with the rebelion. The witches and wizards choose to contorl every bit of the lives of witches and wizards. They pick who they marry, what they will do, and how they will live their life. I never agreed with their choices and it made me so mad that they were trying to control everything they could. I had asssmbeled a lager rebelious team of witches and wizards, any of which have some of the strongest powers and quickest thinking of minds."

"Rebellion, eh...?" Lucas says, staring up at the sky, which is just starting to turn pink, the stars beginning to twinkle into sight. "I'm glad I didn't have to go through anything like that. Sil-" Lucas stops himself from speaking by covering his mouth with his hand.

Mai looked at him, curiousity in her red eyes again and raised her eyebrow at him. "What?" She was wondering what he was about to say and why did he just stop himself. "Is something wrong?"

"Um..." Lucas says, not looking at Mai's eyes. He was never a good liar and someone could easily tell he was holding something back. "No..thing...?" He says cautiously, still not looking at Mai, but more like looking past her. It was a blatant lie, easy to tell it was one.

Mai scowled and said. "What is it?" It didn't matter if Lucas was the best liar in the world, no one could get past Mai with a lie. She hated when someone was lying to her or hidding something form her, and Lucas was doing both which wasn't too good for him.

"I..SUPPOSE I should tell you then." Lucas says, "I come from the nation of Silvestria. I'm an elf-like creature, I guess you could say." Lucas says, pushing his hair back, revealing pointed ears. "Silverians are skilled in technology and magic, but which they're good at depends on the individual. I said that nobody has go to through such a thing you did in Silvestria because it's such a peaceful and nice nation. There, I said it."

Lucas' eyes dart around, looking for anybody listening in on the conversation.

"That's it?" Mai was trying not to laugh. "I'm sorry, but that isn't something bad that you need to hide. It is great that you lived in a peaceful nation but it doesn't matter if people there had to go through what I am going through." She couldn't believe that Lucas was holding back something that was very simple to her.

"That's not it. The reason we're so peaceful and such is that nobody really knows about Silvestria, much less actually know it EXISTS. We have incredible technology, both science and magical. If anybody knew we existed, or even worse, knew its location, they'd invade, lickety-split." Lucas looks around once more cautiously, still feeling a sense of somebody watching them.

Mai nodded. "I see. Well, don't worry, I won't tell anyone." She was good at keeping secrets and understood why Lucas didn't want to tell her about Silverian, even though she was clearly not the type of person to invade them.
