Muse A is a human, (Earthling?) who is in the hospital for a serious reason, in need of a miracle. Late at night, a flapping of wings awoke A. It was a demon without a vessel, Muse B- and the demon brought along a contract.
The deal is, the demon can heal the disability/sickness/injury completely. In return, Muse B can control the body of Muse A whenever they want, for no more than half a day every day.
Eventually things get sorted out, and then supernatural things become more prominent. Some benign, some wicked. Most came sensing every time there is a swap in control of the body, whether out of curiosity or spite or any other reason.
((A/N- Hello! A little about me, I RP 2+ sentences or match my partner's length. For this RP, I am okay with playing either role, but if you can't choose, I default to Etah as the demonic Muse B. Elsewise, I will probably be Xandra as muse A until I can get Beck and Annie uploaded. Hope to roleplay soon!))

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
