Fial blinked when his name was heard at last and his shirt was taken hold of. "Hm?" He looked back at her, staring for a moment. "Oh. Yes, I mean no, I'm fine. I'm alright." He tried to think. How would they get out of this? He started feeling along the mirrors, careful not to leave prints. Every look gave him a view of his sister, and it was piercing through his heart. But followed the wall of mirrors, he was able to at last lead Riiko out. He sighed in relief. Riiko would probably notice he was a bit pale.

Riiko was relieved when they finally found the exit. Seeing themselves repeatedly was kind of scary. It just seemed like there was no end to it. She took a deep breath, and looked to Fial. She noticed he was pale. With that, and his spacey looks in the maze, she felt something was wrong.

"Fial, if there is something bothering you, you can tell me," she said, looking at him in a concerned manner. She didn't want to have fun, until she knew that Fial was having fun too.

Fial looked at himself for a moment, then shook his head a little. "I just...I need some time. That's all." He glanced back at the maze, then suddenly pulled Riiko into his arms and held her close. She was his anti-drug, in a way. Whenever he got depressed about his sister, he turned to Riiko. "The maze made me dizzy." It was his excuse. He couldn't mention his sister to her again. He had to try and be cheerful. If she accepted his issue as a physical one, then she wouldn't worry about him too much.

"I think we should stay away from there..." he said with a soft chuckle. Still holding her.

Riiko was still worried at his first words, but gasped as he pulled her into an embrace. "Yeah, I didn't really like it either, at the end. I didn't think it was going to end and we would be lost in there forever." She blushed a bit, as people around glanced their way, finding it a somewhat odd sight.

"Let's try the carousel next. That looks like it would be less scary." She pulled back just a little, grinning at him and hoping he would feel better.

Fial would let her go and then smiled. "The carousel sounds great." He walked along with her to the carousel, and once it was their turn in line he got on, making sure to choose an animal near her. He pushed away the earlier incident, determined to have fun on their trip together.

"I love carousels, they're so peaceful and fun." He giggled lightly.

She nodded, having to believe him. They seemed harmless at least. She chose a pretty white horse, with silver bridles. She climbed on, almost straddling it, but remembering she was wearing a dress. So she rode side saddle instead. After waiting for the other people to choose their rides, the carousel slowly started. Even though it was slow, moved in a circle, and the horse moved up and down, Riiko still seemed amused by it. It was fun, and it was peaceful, just like Fial had said.

She felt somewhat disappointed that she had been deprieved of all this when she was a child, because she might have enjoyed it even more.

Fial had so much fun, even though it was so normal and even boring to some people. He watched Riiko, thrilled that she was so excited. It was great to see her so happy. And it made him so very happy to have her smiling. He didn't want to drag her down with him when he was in his bad moods. His depressed moods.

Once the ride was over, he got off and took her by the hand, walking along with her. "So, where should we go next?"

Riiko blushed a little when he took her hand and walked with her. It was an odd feeling, and it made her feel like what she thought was a date. It was kind of nice. But she shook her head clearing her thoughts and looking around.

"How about that?" she asked, pointing to a large roller coaster, with fast moving cars, sharp curves and loops. The ride was called 'The Dragon' and under it, it said, 'Not for the Faint of Heart'. It looked really exciting. She turned, smirking to Fial. "Unless you aren't up for it."

Fial looked at the roller coaster, not too fond of it but today was the day to take chances! "Okay!" The sign really scared him, but he was going to go on it for Riiko. He tugged her into line with him and stood there, waiting. "What do you think we should do after this? Do you want to get some snacks or anything while we're at the park?"

He smiled at her and gave her hand a little squeeze, still holding it.

She had been eyeing someone who had been walking buy with what appeared to be a fluffy pick cloud. And they were eating it! That must have been heaven. "I want some of that," she said, pointing to the fluff.

And as she did, she felt somewhat clueless and embarrassed. She didn't know anything about this place, and her not knowing the names of things would turn glances every now and then. But the thing that was turning glances even more, was the fact that Fial was still holding her hand. Riiko had almost forgotten about it, it just felt natural.

Fial stared at the fluffy pinkness that she had pointed out. "Cotton candy! Great idea, Riiko!" He giggled and rushed right over to the nearest cotton candy stand, ordering two. His was blue, and Riiko's was pink! "It melts in your mouth. It tastes so good, it's pure sugar!" More giggling from the very girly man, and he munched on his cotton candy happily.

However, his eyes were glued on her. He wanted to see her reaction when she ate her cotton candy.

Riiko took it happily, and eyed it with a curious look. Slowly, she took a small bite, and the fluff instantly turned to sweet nothing in her mouth. But it was amazing. Her ears perked up and her tail stiffened behind her as she tried to comprehend just how good it was. She let out a happy squeal and said, "I want to eat this all the time! It's so good!" She took another bite, bigger this time, and a happy jingling came from her tail as it swayed in happy delight.

What had she been missing? This experience was great, and she didn't know how a person might live their whole life without doing something like this.

"What is your favorite part about this place, Fial?" she asked, looking at him with a very curious expression. He had been so happy doing the things she suggested, but wondered if there was something he really wanted to do.

Fial grinned when she was so excited. "Isn't it delicious?!" He would make sure both of them had finished their cotton candy before he would walk her off to more rides. "I'll save my very favorite for last." he said with a wink. But he went around with her, taking her to all the other rides that they could go on. He wasn't going to let her miss a moment of fun.

(vague timeskip, if you don't mind. xD I figure there's only so much we can do of them going around riding on rides)

At last, it was night. Fial took her, as he promised, to his very favorite ride. The ferris wheel. It was perfect, because all the rides were now lit up. He got into one of the little carts and sat down with her. "I love this. You can see for forever, and everything looks so beautiful." He took her hand again and held it, his eyes out on the scenery.

He let the silence last for their first round around the wheel, but as they started moving upwards again, he spoke. "Riiko...I would like to tell you something." His voice was uncharacteristically serious. His eyes moved back to her, and her one hand was now enveloped in both of his. It was fair to say he wasn't breathing. His heart was racing. But he still said it.

"I love you Riiko."

(Time skips are forbidden! Ahah no, it's fine, I agree. Your idea was my idea too, though!)

It was so high, when they reached the top for the first go around. And he was right! With all the lights, and the atmosphere of the place, everything was ten times more beautiful from this height. She rested her free hand on the window, taking it all in. She loved high places, and be in one with such sights made this a perfect ending to the night.

Off toward the back of the park, she saw movement. It seemed they were setting up for something, but the Ferris wheel kept turning and their car was making its way back down. She noticed the silence, but didn't mind it. It had been a long day, and she felt that just sitting there, enjoying it all, was nice.

And then they started their way up to the top again. And that was when Fial spoke. At first, with his serious voice, she thought that something might be wrong. But when he took her hand into both of his, she felt her heart begin to race. Why was he being serious? What did he have to say?

And when he spoke those four words, she wasn't sure she had heard him right, or maybe he misspoke. They had only just met, so how could feelings that serious have bloomed so quickly? Should those feelings exist? And even if they did, would it really work between them? But even thinking that, she wanted to reiterate his feelings. Her face was slightly pink, and she looked like she didn't know what to say. She was lost in the moment, her thoughts of reason fading into emotion.

A firework shot into the air, exploding into the night sky above them. And then another. Apparently, what Riiko had seen toward the back of the park, was a set up for a firework show. But she wasn't distracted by it. The glittering lights reflected in her eyes before she closed them, moving toward Fial and wrapping her arms around his neck as she gently kissed him.

Fial was worried immensely about the silence. Had he been wrong to tell her? Should he have stayed quiet? When the fireworks went off he jumped a little in surprise. But he wasn't nearly surprised for that as much as he was surprised when their lips met. His hands left hers and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her gently into his lap while their lips pressed together. It felt so right, so natural.

He couldn't believe it. His racing heart wasn't letting him get a breath. But he didn't want a breath when he was kissing Riiko.

What was several moments, seemed all too short to her. She eventually pulled back, but slowly, and looked at him. And then, the realization of what had just happened hit her. A flustered look went across her face, and she bowed her head a little. "I'm sorry!" she said, but she didn't know why. She had wanted it, he had wanted it. It had just been so embarrassing. She had never shown such emotion before. But then she started to giggle, finding how silly she sounded apologizing. She smiled to Fial and sat next to him, intertwining her fingers with his. It seemed a lot like a fairy tale, and not but a few days ago, she wouldn't have thought it possible.

Fial chuckled softly at her apology and he hugged her. He just hugged her close, and let her go after a few moments. Then he would just hold her hand and smile. He didn't say much, he just was quiet and held her hand. It was nice to be with her. It was nice to finally have gotten it off of his chest.

But...man. Jinx was going to KILL him!

She enjoyed the rest of the Ferris wheel ride, and let out a disappointed sigh as it ended. She quickly pulled Fial out of the car, and led him down the path. There were fewer people here, now that it was dark, and they should most likely head home themselves. She did, of course, have to work tomorrow. But, she was just so excited. She knew it was going to be another night of restless sleeping.

She would walk home with him, though she felt awkward now. What did this mean for them? Hopefully holding hands more often. And a couple more kisses... She liked that. She would blush at the thought, glad Fial couldn't read her mind.

Fial walked along contentedly, her hand in his. "I'm happy we could have such a good day, Riiko." As they walked along home, he let his thoughts roam. Was this a good thing? Bad? Was it right or wrong? When they got home, he opened the door for her, and closed it after them. "Jinx, are you here?" He looked around for the kitten and then sighed. If he found out about the ferris wheel, which he no doubt would, it would be trouble for the poor elf.

There was a loud meow, from the cat who didn't like the fact that he had been left alone in the apartment all day while the other two were out having fun. Jinx ran to Riiko, jumping up and circling around her on her shoulders. She laughed, and apologized, which only sparked another meow from the cat.

"I promise, I'll bring you an nice meal from the cafe tomorrow, okay?" she said, scratching him lightly under his chin. He seemed content enough with that. His golden eyes wandered to Fial for a moment, before he jumped down and took a place on the couch.
