At the corner of your eye, you notice a small leather satchel atop an oak stool, adjacent to a fancy lamp behind it, illuminating a warm glow. Picking up the strap and testing its weight, you unclip a large circular golden button at the very front of the bag, you reach your free hand inside and you procure a partially wrinkled piece of paper. You guiltily discard the satchel and focus on the singular page, and it reads,

It appears you have stumbled across this page! First of all, welcome to my humble abode! (Where else would you have found my satchel, except maybe on my lifeless corpse. I hope it isn't the latter!) I hope you enjoy your stay.

In all seriousness though, welcome all! Just last week did I stumbled across this site, and now that I have some free time on my hands, I decided to visit it once more and actually create a profile this time!
It is very exciting to be here! I will be somewhat slow in developing my characters, so please, bear with me. Now to formally greet myself. My name is Bethany, and I am 25 years old. I am a single mother to my two bundles of pride and joy, Tasha (8 months old) and Elizabeth (5 years old). Trust me, being a young single mother is no easy picnic, and with both of my children not yet weaned from the breast, they are quite the handful!
Now how would I describe myself? Physically, I am about 5'9", and I am quite skinny. I have long black hair, a fairly pretty face with a nose that is too cute for my liking, and I have brown eyes. I also unfortunately have a large chest, but I guess that is a plus, as I am breastfeeding! That is pretty much it.
I do have a few mental health issues (nothing too serious, except for occasional depression and anxiety), which I will only reveal to people that I am most comfortable with. Overall I am a very easy person to get along with and, not to brag, but I am often described as "interesting". (In a, "I want to get to know you a lot more" kind of way.) However, if you do one thing to cross me, our relationship is most likely over. Oh, and I curse a lot.
I have been role-playing since I was a mere 12 years old, meaning I have dedicated over half my life to collaborative creative writing. My favorite genres are fantasy, romance, and slice of life.
1. Ahh, fantasy. I find most of life to not be worth it, thus I delve a lot of my free time into this lovely genre. As a matter of fact, I always wished I were a mage. (Who hasn't/doesn't?)
2. When it comes to romance, I mostly do FxF, but if either of our characters are non-binary, genderfluid, etc., then I can make an exception. Despite the fact I'm pansexual, I am mostly attracted to the female form.
3. Slice of life. Nothing much to say really, as I am very new to it.
In RPs, my favorite timelines are the Middle Ages, the Victorian era, and ancient times. (Ex. 10,000 years ago.) Now, I am a big loved of sci-fi in movies, but when it comes to books and RPs, not so much. Is that weird? I am also delving into Steampunk and Dieselpunk.
I request that all people I talk to and RP with are 18+. Sorry, it's just my personal preference. In role-plays, I am comfortable with mature themes (esp. sexual scenes), just so as long they don't take up even a fraction of the majority of the plot. That means no smut!
I am always in the mood for chit-chat, so hit me up if you wish!
