Both of my characters are shapeshifters, and both are equally useful in a war.
I was thinking of maybe having a roleplay where my character (Nevaeh or Viseria) bonds to a human character who is a soldier in the war (or just someone who participates in the war lol) and they go into battles together and help each other survive the war, etc
Both my characters take commands and such; Nevaeh is more likely to listen to someone who she likes, a friend / loyal companion whereas Viseria, being more animal-like than my other character, she is likely to obey someone she likes, a friend, or someone she has respect for - someone who offers a confident leadership role and does not cower away if she were to challenge or threaten them, but rather someone who would take the "alpha" role and show no fear.
So if you think your character would be able to earn one of my character's loyalty, shoot me a message

My character's often prefer animal form but if they do shift to human form, there may be occasional nudity; my characters can communicate in animal form through telepathy - no, they cannot read minds.
Violence will be included, likely gore as well
Foul language may be included

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
