So I've been setting up a Discord server to run an Apocalypse World campaign (It's a great system and I can't recommend it enough), and I just wanted to put my process up here for feedback. So far I've created separate channels for:

Rules and information
OOC chat
Art
Worldbuilding
And News

I've also taken the liberty of adding in a dicebot.
The plan at the moment is to not have a fixed schedule. If there are enough players online at any time and I have my MC prep ready, I'll host a session with whoever's online and update the worldbuilding channel for anyone who missed it.
As for rules and boundaries, I have a few thoughts:
1. Don't bring personal drama to the game. If you have a problem, settle it outside of the Discord.
2. Rape scenarios, racial slurs and real world controversies are not permitted.
3. Don't initiate PVP without a good, plot relevant reason.
4. Mute your chat whenever you're not in a scene.
5. Try not to metagame, or at least keep it in the OOC channel.
6. Be respectful to the other players.

Has anyone here tried to run something like this before? What were your experiences, and how could you improve them? Can you see anything I need to change?
I'd love feedback on what I've got so far.
Apocalypse World is a good game for that sort of play. It’s not really a team game, so much as a group of individuals with their own agendas, so if the players shift from week to week, it’s not a big deal.

One issue I have is HX. The characters should really have history with each other, which can be tricky to manage if not everyone is present for character creation.

That's a good point actually. This problem cropped up in the game I ran with a couple mates of mine a few weeks ago. I suppose I could just use the rules Vincent proposes for introducing new characters: Decide whether your character is acquainted with them, if yes HX +1 if no HX-1.
I might consider making a character discussion channel to keep track of HX and other relationships.
An Obsidian Portal might not be a bad idea for tracking character sheets / game notes. I use one for my Urban Shadows game.
