Like the title says, I love a good sci fi rp. In fact I just started a server in hopes of getting a small group together for an organized game me and a friend made.

I'm a painter by career so I'm painting all day with a lot of time to rp. So get at me:)

I do all kinds! But mainly using oil paint.
I mainly paint classical style, but here is an example of another style I like to do with a palette knife:

Ha ha you got me! Lovecraft is one of my favourite writers. Pickmans Model is such a good case study on building suspense in my opinion.
Plus it's about a perverse painter! What's not to love:P

Pickman's Model is certainly one of his best stories, in my mind. I think Rats in the Walls edges it out a little in my mind for suspense and building horror, but lacks a perverted painter and has one of the most unfortunately named cats in fiction.

Hahah who could forget ol' N-word man *facepalm. Geez he was certainly a product of his time that's for sure. Looking past blatant racism and xenophobia tho- he pretty much perfected the "Extended Universe" thing.

Somewhat. There were definitely recurring elements and themes in his stories, but much of the work to turn his fiction into a cohesive universe was done posthumously. Still brilliant stuff, so long as you can get past the racism.
