Yes! I completely agree
Even as a kid I'd read those old cheesy sci fi stories. As for horror, my favourite games have ALWAYS been survival horror. There's just something about horror that scratches a macabre itch for me hahaBeen doing it for years! It's definitely a passion for me and even if I couldn't sell any works; I'd still be doing it.

You still have time to sneak into the contest if you feel up to the challenge.
As for finding a crew with a taste for horror and sci fi you can post a "Looking for RP" thread in the forum
