+Points to the Frisco Melt because it's better than the Big Mac with similar sauce.

Honestly, when it comes to sub-standard fast food I go for Rally's spicy chicken, McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder, and Burger King's double Whopper. Backyard Burger's Bacon Bleu burger, Five Guys' double cheeseburger, Arby's ham and cheese slider, Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken, etc.

As far as fries: Rally's, Arby's curly fries, Backyard Burger and Five Guys' seasoned fries, and maybe Chick-fil-A's waffle fries somewhere in there.

I forgot to add:

I like a lot of the items provided by Taco Ball. Chipotle is better, but has a different ambience. Place like Pollo Tropical fair fairly well. The only thing I haven't liked from Taco Bell was their shrimp taco. It was disgusting. Gorditas and chalupas are very tasty along with their five layer beefy burrito and bean/cheese/beef soft taco. To a letter extent, but still awesomely amazing, is their chicken quesadilla with extra jalepeno sauce & a side of jalepeno sauce. This one time I ordered a side of jalepeno SAUCE and got a side of jalepenos. It wasn't what I ordered. I went back through and told the indignant woman that I ordered the jalepeno sauce and not the slices of jalepeno. She arued back and forth with me until she broke. I reported her the next day and wrote a Yelp review detailing her wretched service including her name.

1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons minced jalapenos, slices
2 teaspoons jalapeno juice, from minced jalepenos
3⁄4 teaspoon sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash salt
As someone who works close to the food industry, but not technically inside of it, it astounds me some of the people they hire. The McDonald's in my hometown is the worst about hiring high school kids who don't want to work and then basically letting them manage the store. I get it, I was their age once and needed a job. I worked at a chain fast food place. It's decent money for the time, but you gotta have common sense. Filling a large fry container with what is basically a small fry isn't acceptable. I've had to pull over from the drive thru, go inside, and have them give me the amount of fries I paid for. It sounds dumb, I know. I'm normally the sort of person that just rolls things off their shoulder and moves on, but when it comes to money I can be a little tight I will admit.

Anyways, rant aside. Burger wise, I find I like Sonic's better than most of the other chains. We don't have many of the new ones (Five Guy's/In and Out/Backyard) where I live so Sonic is kind of a sentimental thing. Their fries suck though. Whoever is the one that made the decision on that needs to be let go and it reverted back.
All very intense! :o

Even when it's killing me, my favorite fast food is Taco Bell. I think it's because Taco Bell is hard-coded into my DNA. Overexposure in the womb, probably. I'm new to and fond of the cheesy gordita crunch, but eating a Mexican pizza feels like coming home.

Arby's curly fries are pretty fantastic, but I really miss when A&W used to have them. Maybe the fog of time and distance is clouding my perception of how good they actually were, but... is it really? On the bright side, A&W does still have their incredibly salty chicken strips and I am, how you say, all over that.
I miss living somewhere that had Culver's. Every time I go back to visit my folks I'm sure to get a couple butterburgers. That was solid fast food right there.

Now, I'm pretty big on Popeyes
