Looking for a Fate Series themed roleplay! (Fate/Stay Night/ Grand Order/ Zero/Apocrypha).





Sorry, I thought I had to make it obvious enough and eye-catching from the start...

I'm a long-standing fan of the Fate series (you know, that one with the battle royale for a magical cup of "Go screw yourself"). Needless to say, it wouldn't be far-fetched to call it my favorite fantasy-action mixture anime, due to its captivating theme and quite original idea of genderbending every possible historical figure into a more fanservice oriented version.

Now then, allow me to state some requirements first:

• I'd like to stay away from anything that is already canon in the Fate verse, that meaning that I do not wish to replay the events of any of the routes. Although that said, I don't mind altering the story to a small degree, such as maybe that one orange melon head not dying in a war after the events of Fate/Stay Night?.
• I would like if we wouldn't limit the reply length to the bare minimum and allow to other to write as much as wanted. I don't demand instead, the exact mimicry of my length but, please do be considerate, I don't crush my fingers on this keyboard for nothing.
• I am staying away from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and Extella because
  0)Extella is garbage go die along with your waifu kuso *spits*
  1)I haven't watched Fate/Extella and haven't read or played the Hollow Ataraxia story
  2)I lack enough knowledge to come up with a storyline for any of those
• I am fine with OCs and as well as canon characters such as existent Masters or Servants from the Fate verse. Play whoever you wish... although... if you dare attempt to practice your acting skill through the body of a certain ancient king blessed with the power of OP bullshit, I will be merciless in response.

If you are interested, here are a few settings that I could suggest:

• Master and Servant pair - We can do the classical storyline and get a Master and a Servant to fight in a Holy Grail War, themed either before any of the Fate original timeline events or after, or even an alternate timeline. Of course, you might have to be prepared to tackle multiple characters that I may bring in or be ready to play some yourself, after all, there are 7 pairs fighting in the Holy Grail War.
  
• The Throne of Heroes had a stroke - Imagine being a Servant that just peacefully woke up from his sleep in the middle of Tokyo... only to realize that there is no Master around, you're starving on mana and have no idea whatsoever about what just happened and how you ended up back in the world of the living. This setting offers more freedom as there is no direct objective that must be fulfilled and the action can be taken to either combat-ready Servants wanting to end each other or amusing slice of life fantasy action!
  
• Whatever idea you might have - If you already have an idea for a plot, I am totally open to hearing it. I wouldn't mind working with you on creating one through both of our efforts combined either. Everything is up to debate but, I'd prefer if we didn't just start off at random and try to figure things out as we go. I'd like at least some sort of goal to aim for in this roleplay, leaving the methods of achieving it for us to figure out.
  

Here are some of the Servants I can roleplay as:

• Can't guarantee the best results but, still have some experience: Gawain, Chiron, Ozymandias, Iskandar, Gilgamesh (Caster), William Shakespeare, Merlin, Mordred, Minamoto no Yorimitsu
• I have a pretty good hold of how this character acts: James Moriarty, Vlad III (Lancer Apocrypha), Karna, Cu Chulainn (Caster), Arthur Pendragon, Semiramis, Amakusa Shirou, Penthesilea
• Pretty confident I can nail this one:Gilgamesh (Archer), Cu Chulainn (Lancer), Karna, Achilles, Edmond Dantes

P.S.
I wouldn't mind a good romance story, especially for already shipped characters (Achilles x Atalanta, Semiramis x Amakusa, Minamoto x ...well, anyone?). Let's not judge each other for ships!

Awesome. I have an idea for a strampunkesque Grail War based in WW1. I’m thinking someplace in Europe maybe France. Anyway I have quite a few Servants I want to try out.

Funny how interest sparked up just recently. I've been looking for an RP like this, as well. The second setting proposed in particular is something I've been searching for a while - playing as Servants, free of restraints from Masters. I'm personally not too experienced with this interface, but I hope that's not much issue. It seems intuitive enough.

I'm sure we can achieve a compromise with ChildofArtemis' proposal. A steampunk setting isn't something I'm opposed to, and could lead to some very interesting interactions - akin to Grand Order's Singularities or Lostbelts.

As for Servants, I have both OC and canon favorites I'd love to use. There are some OCs I really want to try out, but if you feel it could turn the RP into a mess, I'm also down for playing canons. Here are my preferred canon choices:

Characters I can play comfortably: Avicebron, Mephistopheles, Nikola Tesla, Shakespeare, Gilles de Rais (Caster).

Characters I'm not sure how to play, but would like to learn: Ivan the Terrible, Solomon, Thomas Edison.


I could detail the OC Servants extensively if you'd prefer so via PMs. Hopefully we can kick this off right!

I do love a good Fate/ RP. It has been a while since I've gotten the chance to RP something like this so I'd love to participate if you still have room. I'm versed in Fate/ lore for the most part so any setting is alright with me. Although, a steampunk setting could be pretty awesome.

I'm comfortable RPing as a myriad of potential characters, both canon, OC, and conceptually ambiguous (depending on how much of F/GO we are considering as canonical). I look forward to writing with you fine folk.
