Hello guys! I'm new here, you guys can call me Stanley. I'm currently 18, a college student studying in the U.S. My major, as well as my favorite subject in school is Biology. I've been writing my own original novels since elementary school, most of the themes I usually wrote include Fantasy, Adventure and Sci-fi; and most of the time I'll draw those original characters I created.
But even though I have experiences of writing novels and drawing, however, I've actually never played role-playing before, so....yeah, I might need some try before I start a role-play. Also while all of my novels are not written in English, I also need a short period of time figuring out some common ways of novel-writing in English.
Oh! by the way, I've already created a page for my original character called Raizinn, he's a character I've created since elementary school, and continuously writing his stories till now; unfortunately, I'm currently lacking ideas to continued his new adventure, spending about three days working on the translation of all information in his profile page, hoping to find some awesome ideas to continue his story by role-playing. So....if anyone interesting in roleplaying with Raizinn, you are welcome to tell me.

Roleplay is essentially the same thing as writing a story - the only difference is that you are creating a story WITH someone, you both contribute to the story. I am sure you will grow to love roleplaying as much as you do story writing!

When getting started with RP, I really recommend this primer on basic RP concepts as a starting place. Even if you have some RP experience, it can be a nice way to see what the general norm is here.
We also had some community discussions awhile back about how to improve at RP.. I boiled them down into interesting articles for those who are interested. Here's a selection of my favorite ones:

I tend to have the same issue,, My OC Ingrid is who I spend the most time developing. I usually just sit and nit pick at her for a while when I feel creative,, and no roleplay partners are within reach. Though, I've found scrolling through the rpr that you can find many ideas in the strangest places.
Everyone here is very kind! And I'm sure you'll get to make many new friends (Including myself
