Long Story Short
I've come up on some rather hard times. A few nights ago, I was driven to the emergency room due to a kidney infection that had become so severe that it gave me renal scarring/damage (that hopefully isn't permanent). After nearly eight hours (most of which were spent waiting; I only saw the doctor twice), I was admitted into the hospital and kept there for three days on a treatment plan of intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and pain management. The staff had to act fast because I was in a particularly dangerous situation, and they were afraid that my infection might have entered my bloodstream and turned into sepsis. (Thankfully, that was not the case.) Once my kidney functions were 100% normal, they discharged me yesterday afternoon with medication for pain and antibiotics to completely clear the infection.
With the danger out of the way, I'm sure you all can guess what my immediate concerns were afterward: bills. Having no health insurance, I am going to be looking at a pretty large sum of money, though I have talked to a case worker about financial assistance. In order to help me pay for anything that the program cannot cover, I'm opening up commissions, which I hope you guys would be kind enough to take advantage of to help me out.
What I'm Offering
I don't have a computer that can handle a decent software at the moment, so unfortunately, I cannot perform digital art, but I hope that does not deter you. I assure you, my traditional sketches are fairly clear and detailed. I am willing to sketch anything of your choice (uncolored, but fully shaded) for a mere $5 (or more, if you're generous enough to donate). Each sketch will likely take me anywhere from one to three hours, depending on what you ask me for.
While animals/quadrapeds are my forte, I can draw humans and inanimate objects. For examples of my work, please check out my DeviantArt.
I am currently taking unlimited requests, as my bills are going to be pretty extensive, and I will need all the help I can get!
