Jane walked the city streets nearby the apartment she had. She didn't really have a purpose for her walking, it was actually quite aimless. But it kept her busy, this walking, and it kept her mind off of her current predicament. (That is, the one where she was being chased by Russian scientists who wanted to take her back to the Motherland to brainwash her and use her to do evil things for them.)

Once she found herself in a secluded enough area, Jane dropped her oversized hoodie, revealing her beautiful black wings. She tied the hoodie around her waist, and took to the skies, making sure to stay relatively out of sight of the streets. (Above rooftops, behind buildings, etc.)

I wish I knew if they knew where I was... Thought the girl. It worried her, not knowing. Perhaps they were watching her this instant...
