Aimless is a roleplay that is looking for writers to collaborate with and bring our original world to life. We hope not to just run a roleplay, but also to build a welcoming community so that our out of character areas are just as important as the writing itself.
Aimless is an original, open world concept with 3 different races to choose from and a taste of both sci-fi and fantasy clashing together. While the world has overarching themes to help you find your direction, there is room for both involvement in major plotlines that affect things on a larger scale or personal plotting between a handful of characters.
Every plot point is seen as important and can have some affect, however small, on the world and making it come to life! That said, everyone also gets their chance to shine and be the 'main character' of their own story and, at some points, even to the major plot.
New members will start out in just our "Initiates" spaces, where they can meet the Staff and members while they learn the lore. Once you have submitted a character to our form and settled in, we'll grant member access so you can participate in the rest of the server.
~~The Aimless world is set after a war between Witches and Humans which has led to the creation of a dreadful mutation. This mutation is responsible for giant monsters which destroy all in their path - but the greatest defense against them are the mutant people who will eventually transform into these monsters themselves. Since they are doomed to such a terrible fate, the people of this world have dubbed the mutants as Aimless, which is where the roleplay gets its name. ~~

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
