More than a hundred years ago, humanity was on the verge of extinction. Overpopulation, climate change, pollution, war, and famine threatened to wipe out the entire species. Mankind’s doom was seemingly sealed with the arrival of the Aggressors, vicious mechanical aliens intent on destroying the planet for motives which no one would ever know. Only the rise of the Regime prevented our total annihilation. Uniting all of earth beneath their glorious banner, the Regime began to beat the Aggressors back. Victory came at a cost, of course. Freedom of speech has been temporarily revoked, lest anyone destabilize the Regime, mankind’s only salvation. All production is under the temporary control of the Regime, to ensure it is not misused. Surveillance systems monitor all citizens at all times, to ensure that the Regime is not weakened from within by disloyalty. The price is steep, but it must be paid. For only the Regime can protect us from the Aggressors.
At least, that is the official story. You know the truth; the Aggressors left on their own nearly fifty years ago. All that remains of them is the wreckage they left behind. Wreckage which the Regime repaired or reverse engineered. Wreckage which you now pilot from a remote base in the devastated wastelands of Canada. You are a member of the Aggressor Initiative. Freedom is the price humanity paid for safety. Make sure they keep paying.
Or, if you have the courage, try to escape. Bring what you know to the public and tear the Regime down from its foundations. Then pray that if the true Aggressors come knocking, you have the strength to defeat them.

Thanks for giving this a look! It's basically what it says on the tin. I'm looking for a maximum of two other roleplayers to play a tight-knit squad of Aggressor Pilots in service to the Regime. The exact nature of the RP's plot can be discussed in private. Do you want to try to escape the Regime's clutches? Fight off the true Aggressors as they return in force? Or something entirely different? Don't be afraid to toss out ideas and let me know what you're comfortable with. RP posts should be a minimum of four sentences. Thanks again for your interest!

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
