Howdy! I'm pretty new to the site, but I've been wanting to give roleplaying a go for a while now. So, here I am.
I guess I would say that my favorite types of RP would be fantasy RPs. More specifically, medieval fantasy RPs. I am open to playing any type of RP, though. My background in roleplaying stems from D&D, so that's the type of RP I have the most experience with. Aside from D&D, I count Skyrim, Dark Souls, and Dragon Age as being inspirations for roleplaying as well and count them as some of my favorites.
What I hope to find here is a group of people to hang out with and experiment with in terms of roleplay. I'm just here to have fun and make fun.

Hey, that's all awesome! I'm so glad you stopped in at RPR and I really hope you find that you mesh with a ton of people. The wider your RP net, the more fun you can have.
I think I can say up front that fantasy/medieval genres are gonna be no problem. The touchstones you listed are popular ones for sure and it seems that nearly everyone has at least one character ready to go for settings like those. Even I have a couple of OCs from the Oblivion era! It's really handy as a jumping-off point.

to RPR fellow one! I hope you find yourself comftable here and no need to worry, there is plenty of lads and laddies here who have experince with DnD as well, so i believe you'll fit right in here. I am personally yet to play DnD but not because of lack of intresst but well...of lack of fellows to play with. I hope to one day play this game, since it is the very well that RP sprung from and then grew into what it is today. In other words im quite sure that RP wouldnt exsist or atleast be as known as it is today if it wasnt for DnD, so have personall experince of it gives you more than enough experince to be a Roleplayer my friend.
