“Cedric.” Jason’s tone was harsh and commanding, and though Cedric’s eyes begged for otherwise, it seemed the young man was exerting his power as captain, “We will continue as planned. Now read.”

When a morning walk bring you to the seashore, a crowd attracts your attention. Nudging your way past the collection of curious onlookers, you hardly expect the scene in front of you- the sands strewn with rubble, chuncks of wood and debris having washed up on the shore. A ship was caught in the storm, one would claim, shredded the woodon the rocky coasts approaching you homeland, but what kind of storm was it that it didn’t bother a soul on these coastal towns- there was no word of a storm from anyone else, after all.

Among the scene, multiple bodies, and one who appears to be pulling himself to his feet, bleeding heavily. His dress makes it clear he must’ve been on board- a telescope is still attached to his hip, though almost certainly damaged, and there are additional spots for tools that were now missing, lost to the waves. He staggers to his feet, and when he stands, the crown around his head catches the light, the gold glittering faintly before the young man collapses in the sand once more, after having only pulled himself a few feet forward. A noble.

Perhaps it’s your sense of honor and pride that pushes you to help this stranger, or perhaps you have other things in mind. But as the story begins to untangle, more lives are dragged into the chaos, and you find the storm that’s been unleashed his hardly over yet.

Cedric’s probably going to be just a touch attached to her since Jason’s gone- he’s not too much the muscle type himself, so he usually likes to have a strong person at his side.

Right now most roles are pretty vague- I’m not sure if Tus plans to bring in King Conrad or any of his other nobleman and what impact that would have on setting, or if you maybe want to take on that kind of roll? I’m not sure what everyone’s feeling just yet.

What character are you playing Strawberry?

Any kind of you would prefer among my characters? I have good and evil, rich and poor, etc... ample repertoire to cover all gaps and needs

Given there are castaways to be had I was thinking of bringing slavers/rogues or pirates or vikings to pick them up (choice is yours)

Plantations came to my mind and markets and quarries and mines and dungeons and cages hmm so many places to take captives to (choice is yours)

Then I could add a couple of cruel lord / stern master / harsh ruler to spice things up (choice is yours)

And lesser but nicer counterparts like a good knight or guard or rebels or whatever

Magic wise I also have Elektra, Thalia... who can step into action if needed

All up in the air... nothing decided at my end

Let me know who is playing what so as to not step on anyone else roles and duplicate positions.

where will the RP be taking place at? The sea again? The land they just reached?

I’ll be taking on the role of Cedric, and though Jason isn’t dead he’s going to be missing for a large portion if not all of the RP; unless you’d like one of your privateers to find Jason floating in the water, that is. That’d open up a second sort of plot, where’s it’s Jason trying to get to his brother while Cedric and the others are trying to damage control everything that’s gone wrong. And he’s not going to have his crown either, so unless you’d like them to be familiar with Dicon and the two missing princes, there would be no way for them to tell who Jason was.

Alternatively, if you’d like to have someone on the ground, there’s going to be the fact that Cedric isn’t going to want to open up about what all happened immediately, unless of course there’s someone scary enough to make him talk (he’s not a very brave young man).

As for where it’s taking place, most of it will occur in this new Kingdom unless the above mentioned with Jason goes on. Depending on which direction I take the plot (I’ve got something in mind but I’d like to see how it plays out with everyone before I decide the direction it goes in), closer to the end they may be on the seas but otherwise it’d be on land for Cedric and those who join him.

Jason is missing, floating around somewhere in the ocean. He’s alive, but definitely won’t be appearing for a short while. Gives the chance for Cedric to gain some personal growth.

Though the idea of killing him off straight in the beginning does sound particularly good. Maybe another time I’ll have to go with that kind of route.

If all is well I'd like to offer this character as my selection, they're someone I can play as both male or female, as in my head see them as so androgynous it won't change the appearance.

They could either be off on a diplomatic mission and stumble upon Cedric and his followers washed up on the beach or they be the one to find Jason washed up on Opal's own kingdom I'm fine with whichever path and whatever suits the plot best

Tight! I like the idea of playing Hangy here since he is afraid of the ocean. >:3c Can we establish that this is the western shore of whatever landmass it's on, or is it already set in stone? He tends to despair when he reaches an ocean in his travels.

Since we’ve got almost everything figured out, I’m going to start writing up my starter and get the Forum for it all posted up and ready to go
