Marik repeated the repeated CPR, this time exhaling more air into her lungs. He nudges her again
Jay gently batted his cheek weakly, still coughing.
He looked down at her. "You ok?"
She nodded weakly.
He nuzzled her cheek. "You scared me there"
She smiled slightly, weakly rubbing her cheek against his as well.
"What happened out there? One moment you were fine and the other I was having to carry you back to shore. You ok?"
She nodded, weakly. "I.... I was stuck...."
"On the seaweed? Oh yeah, that would make sense" He licked her cheek. "Just glad you're ok"
Jay smiled slightly, blushing. "Th-thanks.... I'm glad, too...."
"Can you stand? Lean on me if you need"
She shakily heaves herself up.
"Here, let me carry you" He hoisted her onto his back.
She smiled weakly. "Th-thanks...."
"No problem" He nudged her head so it was laying over his neck before beginning to walk back to the pack.
Jay grunted happily.
They arrive at the pack. Marik manages to locate the healing den and walks over, gently laying Jay down on the hay..
Jay looks up at him shakily.
He touches his cheek to hers. "You ok to wait here? I'm going to go get someone who can help" He said, softly
