"Its Just, I didn't think..." he looked down. "Never mind..." he stood up. "If I'm to do this, it would be a fight to the death against Zan, if I lose..."

He gently licked her cheek.

He sighed. "Well I guess if I win, I have my Omega" he smiled at her.

She scooted closed to him and licked his nose and she nuzzled him “I’m sorry...”

Jay smiled and heaved herself up. "Yup...."

He gently nuzzled back. "It's alright...."

"But becoming an Alpha, I-I don't know if I can do it..."

"Imagine- Being able to lead a Pack side-by-side with your Omega (Me), watching your pups grow up knowing their father was an Alpha," Jay said, smiling softly.

He looked down. "But if I lose, you'll lose me... forever..."

She licked his check affectionately. "Then we need to make sure you won't.... You should get some extra training..."

He looks down. "Ok..."

"Hey, if you don't want to do this you don't have to..."

"The thing is, I'm scared. Scared that if I lose, you'll be all alone. Scared that even if I do win, I won't be accepted..." he sighs. "The only thing that is making me want to do this is that I want to prove to myself that I'm not a complete coward and also-" he breathes in. "Also so I can build a better life for myself, for us, for our pups..."

Jay gently nuzzled his cheek. "It's okay.... I know you can't lose."

He sighed once more. "I love you Jay" he said softly.

"I love you, too...."

He nuzzled her cheek. "Ok... I'm going to fight..."

She smiled. "Okay, but would you at least like to brush up on your skills first? Just to make sure?...."

"What would I test them on?"
