Jay nodded, blushing and smiling. "I really am...."

"Yeah..." she looked down. "Since he left though, things have got worse here. Our new Alpha, Zan. Well he-" she took a deep breath. "He wants me to be his Omega and I really don't want to. He tried to- you know but my friend Ron saved me. Life has been hell here since Marik left..." She looked down sadly.

She twitches in her sleep as she dreams

"Don't worry.... Marik's going to win the fight and save you all. I just know it."

Moon smiled softly. "Awe...."

"I hope so... For my sake, your sake, your pups sake and for the pack's sake..." She said, a small tear appeared in here eye.

Jay gently wiped the tear away with the tip of her muzzle. "It'll be okay.... I know it will be...."

Monica composed herself again. "I hope he's ready, Zan is a strong wolf and on paper, he could easily beat Marik so I'm hoping his fighting skills have only improved since when he was younger.

She opened one eye and looked at moon

Jay smiled a bit, nodding.

Moon gently licked her cheek.

Marik and Taru walk back to the group. "I think I'm ready..." He says quietly.

Jay licked his cheek gently.

He nuzzled her cheek back before turning to the whole group. "I don't really want to you guys to watch this.." he starts.

Jay gently shook her head.

"If I die, I just want to say a few things." He turned to Taru. "Taru, you've been like a mother to me, I really appreciate that and hope that you can keep doing that with your kind hear and look after everyone in this pack." He turned to Monica. "Monica... you were one of my best friends as a pup. My life would not have been same without you, you never turned your back on me when most of the pack did." Next he turned to Moon. "Moon, when I was out there by myself, you accepted me into your pack, you made sure I was taken care of. I hope you can continue to be a great Alpha and look after your pack well. Finally he turned to Jay. "And Jay..." He walks up to her and nuzzles her cheek passionately. "You're the best mate I could've hoped for. I love you with all my heart..." A tear streamed down his face at this last line as the thought of never seeing his mate again crossed his mind.

Jay tried to choke back the tears as she nuzzled his cheek back.

He blinked away the tears and looked Jay in the eyes. "Jay... I'm going to win this. For you, for our pups..." he said softly.

Jay nodded shakily, a tear streaming down her cheek while the others lay in her eyes.

He licked the tear away. "It will be all right..." He nuzzled her once more.

Jay nods slightly, smiling a bit.

He takes a deep breath. "Ok, I'm ready..." he begins to walk out but looks back at them at the entrance. "Thank you..." He walks out into the clearing.
