She laid down on her said and let out a breath letting of relief

Jay shook her head- It was time.

Moon smiled softly.

"Is it... time?" he asked, getting slightly worried.

She sighed and looked up at the trees swaying in the wind

Jay nodded, breathing heavily.

Moon smiled softly.

He stood up. "Let me get you to the den."

She stretched her legs out, and smiled at moon

Jay nodded, heaving herself up.

Moon smiled back. "How you doing?"

“I’m fine...hey...do you think the pack likes me?” She said looking down at the pack

"Do you want me to carry you or are you fine leaning on me?" He said, trying to keep calm.

"I-I think I can walk...." Jay's legs suddenly buckled beneath her.

Moon smiled, nodding. "Of course!"

Marik saw this and quickly managed to stop her from completely falling, heaving her onto his back before heading to the cave. "Hang in there" He whispered to her, reassuringly.

Jay nodded, panting.

They arrive at the cave and Marik slowly lowers Jay down onto the hay.

After a few long hours, it was finally done....

“I hope so..” she smiled

Marik had helped Jay through the entire process and now lay beside her, supportively.

Four tiny pups now suckled at her side happily, while one.... One didn't.

"I know so...."

He nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "They're adorable... guess they take after their mother~"
