I did not want to lable this "Master/Slave"RP because of all of the insinuations that can come with a title like that, but it is basically what I want to work on.

The idea is there is a world that has two main social classes, the "Owners" and the "Serf's"

The Owners are pretty straight forward. They are the class that runs the world. Kind of like Royalty in a way.

The Serf's however are very different. While they can be born as any race (meaning human, elf, dwarf, ect) they are creatures born with silver collars around their necks. Each Serf has a Owner for whom they are born, and originally they lived as a free person until they met their Owner. When a Serf and Owner who belong to each other meet a bond is formed. Over time however the Serf's became enslaved. While some of them are still lucky enough to be gifted to their Owners, some are simply treated as Slaves instead, and may meet the Owner for them at any point in their life.

I know it's a little complicated, but I hope I've explained it in a way that can be understood. Anyway, would anyone be interested in this? I think I'd like to start out with only about 3 or 4 people in the RP to see if it will work.

I think this could be a lot of fun and I am down for it. I would love to play either role

That sounds like such an awesome plot! Unfortunately, I'm only able to do 1x1 RPs due to semester starting. But have fun with it It is a great idea!

CelestialGrey, I am interested in this plot from multiple different views. If you are curious about exploring it with me, I'd be willing to make a 1X1 version of it to see how it works that way as well. I'd eventually like to turn this into a world one day.

I have a character, Nebi, who could totally fit the bill as a "serf"--he has a silver chain around his neck. I love the idea, actually, and given that he's a pickpocket/thief, it'd be more hilarious if he discovers who is owner is, by stealing from him/her.

Anyway, I'd be interested in trying this out. Just name when and where and I'll be there!

It's a really interesting plot, certainly has my attention. It might be fun to bring Angier in as a Serf, an enslaved beast of sorts.

And just out of curiosity, how do the serfs know when they have found their owner? Do their collars turn a different color or something?

Welcome to join! and it is different for every Serf. Sometimes it is a physical reaction, other times mental, or a color changing of the collar.
