" So Connor is the new counsellor Jess?" He finished eating as he gather his plate and start washing them on a sink.
I put on my navy blue hoodie and grey boxers/pajama shorts. I put my hood up and keep my cabin door open since its a little cold but it's nice. I drape my blanket over my legs and listen to 'The Neighbourhood"s music. I read my book quietly, holding it up with my knees.
She finished and put her plate in the sink and rinsed it, “thanks again for lunch it was great!” She gave him a warm smile.
"Jessica, right?" He asked Jessica
I groan and tuck my MP 3 Player into my pocket to listen to music. I fold a page of my book to mark it as I go outside, closing my cabin door, and going out into the woods, climbing a tree and laying down on a thick branch to read.
She nodded, “yes it is, but you can call me jess.”she turned as she finished her plate to look at him.
"No Problem and I'm glade you both like it. Always remember dont hesistate to ask me on what to cook." As he finish washing his plates he fixed and clean the table. "Anyway of you guys need me, I'll be at the garage." He turned and leave the counsellor house.
“Alright allec...” she turned back to Conner, “so what made you want to be a counselor..?”
As he was in the garage, He notice an old rusted counsellor jeep that he decided to try and fixed it.
She had finished talking to Connor and went to her room and grabbed a more appropriate bathing suit it was a camp counselor bathing suit that was a one piece, she grabbed her towel and walked out side, she turned to the side seeing the garage open and someone under her dads old Jeep. She walked over seeing Allec, “hey what are you doing...?” She bent down to look at him under the Jeep.
"OH Hey there Jess, Just trying fixed this old beauty jeep." He slide out open as he wipe off the sweat on his forehed and he was wearing a black tank top.
She got up into the Jeep and pulled open the glove box, she pulled out a old picture. She sat in the Jeep looking at the picture. “That’s nice...” she said as placed the picture in her lap.
" What are you having there?" He leaned on a wall.
She sniffed and blinked rapidly, “umm...just a old photo..” she looked up at him. She gave a soft smile. “It just me and my dad...this is his Jeep actually..”
"Woah that surprises my expectation. You dad sure knows how to choose the right jeep. Look at this still durable metal and driver seat. Its about like a 10 year durability."
“Ya it’s funny cause he became a counselor here when I was born so I kinda grew up in this car...” she smiled and laughed a little bit, as she wiped away a tear.
" So thats why you become one. I'm pretty glad that you took this job seriously and I bet your dad is proud of you." He went back to the jeep and opened the hood to check it. "Although this jeep is still drivable."
“Ya it haven’t been since it was drove into the lake, I’m surprised these pictures are in tact.” She went through the glove box finding more pictures.
