So I really wanna do something in the Science Fiction genre but I would really like to do it with a strong female character. I'm leaving the genre and plot open as brainstorming it together is my favorite part and want to keep all my options open. Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
