Roleplay prompt for Viseria: see on my profile!

This is loosely based on "How To Train Your Dragon"

Sorry this is so long. I wanted it to be detailed and as planned out as possible, so that we don't have to discuss a whole lot more.

** 3 detailed paragraphs MINIMUM, literate writing

** PATIENCE NEEDED! Please be patient, roleplay is fun, not a job. I absolutely hate being rushed for a reply or asked about a reply after only a few days. Trust me; I will NEVER leave you hanging. Being asked about replies kills my mood, and then I don't even want to write anymore, which in turn, makes me take longer.

** NO romance or smut (unless you want to roleplay an NPC that your character likes, but no romance between our two personal characters)

** Violence, possible gore, foul language, etc will be present in this roleplay

** Possible nudity if my character shifts from animal to human (I can alter this to give no details)

Setting is historically based, your character belongs to a small-medium village known as Saxondale, which has been dealing with major conflicts from a neighboring - larger - village known as Solaris. The two villages are a great fair distance away from one another but have for many years had managed well together. Your character's village is well known for their possession of a very strong metal, great for creating weapons and much more; vibranium.

Your character's village would trade this metal for other goods from Solaris. The two villages were never fond of each other but the trades were good and so a some sort of alliance was tolerated. Things were well until the Saxondale Chief grew unhappy with the increasing half-assed supplies from Solaris in return for Saxondale's metal and after the two village Chiefs were unable to come to an agreement, the Solaris Chief declared war against Saxondale to take over the village.

Saxondale and Solaris have been at war for a few years now.
As most villages, Saxondale fights off magical creatures that occasionally intrude on the village and create chaos, but the village is also unfortunately losing its war against Solaris as Saxondale's forces are not quite as powerful or as large as Solaris' forces.

Your character's father is the Chief of Saxondale, a well respected man who lost his arm to a dragon many years back. He cares deeply for his village and its people and is distasteful towards the creatures of the Earth and is determined to win the war against Solaris even though he knows they have the upper hand.

Your character is, according to most people in the village, unfit to be a warrior; including by your father, and is often labelled as the village fool. Your character, however, despite everybody else's opinion, wants nothing more than to be able to fight alongside the other soldiers in the war. Your character wants to fend off the magical creatures and fight in the war against Solaris to help; your character wants to be included and to be respected as your father is and is often reckless in attempting to do so. Your character's efforts to make people notice you as more than the village fool are rather pointless and typically end in people being annoyed with you.

One night, Saxondale is under attack by a small army of Solaris soldiers and your character - disobeying your fathers orders - rushed out of the house goes up top a mountain near the walls of Saxondale where a few of the ballista's are kept for shooting at airborne creatures that attack the village. Your character's original goal was to hopefully peer over the walls to see what was going on, but instead, you see something else.

Your character notices something flying through the night sky, something big, a sort of magical creature - a dragon, from the looks of it, (my character). Your character has pulled these stunts before but has never exactly been successful. Eager to earn the respect of your father and the village, your character prepares one of the ballista's and is excitedly ready to finally show everyone what you are capable of.

Your character takes a lousy shot with a ballista and quickly gazes upon my character in the sky to see what happens; much to your characters surprize, you hear an agonizing shriek and you watch as my character falls from the sky and crashes into the nearby forest. This fills your character with joy and you are unfazed by your angry father who comes up just a minute later to grab you by your shoulder and question what you were doing.

Your character explicitly explains how you've just hit a dragon. Unfortunately, your father does not believe you and finds your story humorous - and also rather disappointing. You are unable to go out and search for the creature you just hit as your father drags you back home. The small attack from Solaris was handled by the time you went to sleep. The next day, despite your father's demand for you to remain home the entire day under watch of a trusted friend of his, your character manages to sneak out anyway and immediately sets out to find the creature you hit last night.

After a long search in the nearby forest, outside of Saxondale, your character finally finds the aftermath of the dragon's crash and follows the destruction to the location of my character who is still unconscious from last night's rough fall; you noticed the overly large spear in my character's shoulder, which caused the fall, and she had an obvious broken wing. At first, your character is frightened and is seemingly ready to kill my character with your knife drawn and held toward my character's throat, ready to return with my character's head to prove yourself to your father and the village. However, after a moment, your character is simply unable to do it and instead, your character - struggling greatly - removes the spear from my character's shoulder and feels bad about what you've done.

My character wakes up and pins your character to the ground, but instead of dealing any harm, she instead gives an angry roar and runs off. Your character can hear the moment that my characters trips and falls over a steep stone-cliff and lands into a rather deep pit of land with a pond. Your character is fazed by the near-death encounter with my character. However, despite this, your character follows where my character had fallen down the cliff. You notice that my character struggles to escape as she cannot fly away due to a broken wing, and she appears to be stuck down there.

Your character leaves and returns early the next day with a bag of fish thrown over your shoulder and a hook and rope. Your character loops and hooks the rope around a strong tree trunk and lowers yourself into the pit, you remove the bag and immediately take a fish out to hopefully show my character you come in peace as she seems displeased with your presence.

My character accepts the fish from your character after you have thrown away the knife you kept in the pouch on your pants. Your character eventually reaches a hand out to touch my character, but she growls and turns away from your character and rests on the other side of the pit away from you. Your character continues to make unsuccessful attempts to befriend my character and eventually decides to wait for my character to approach you first; which she does after some time. Eventually, by the end of the day, your character manages to make a first big step with my character; she allows you to stroke her snout, but is quick to retreat afterwards.

The next day your character returns with hope to help my character heal her broken wing a little faster.
Eventually, my character and your character grow a close bond, and together they become a team. Once my character is healed from her broken wing, she allows your character to ride her back.

Sometime down the line, your character hears of a big battle going down and you want to help as you know your village does not have enough manpower anymore. Quickly your character goes to the pit - where my character has decided to stay - and together they unexpectedly join the battle against Solaris soldiers in a large field a couple miles away from Saxondale. Your character and my character tip the odds in Saxondale's favor and send the Solaris soldiers packing.

Upon return to the village, your father is angry with the discovery of your bond with a dragon, but eventually comes to accept it and your character finally earns his respect and the respect of the village, and is now allowed to participate in the war, known as Saxondale's very first dragon rider.

I didn't know how else to say XD I've been obsessing over the movie lately and figured a roleplay like that would be cute but with a personal sort of small twist to the story. I'll send you a PM! :)
