I'm looking for an RP partner with an evil-aligned powerful mage character who would like to pursue the possibility of a relationship with Margit, a princess who currently hates her micromanaged life. I'm definitely not looking for a 'love turns evil to good' type of thing. I love complex characters and your evil mage can happily remain evil, the only problem would be being Stupid Evil.

Margit is trustworthy, loyal, intelligent, not competitive, neutral about the concept of 'good' and 'evil.' She's also troubled by her upbringing.

I really want to do this. I don't, however, have an evil mage character but now I really want to MAKE one. Evil is my cup of tea, and I prefer a diplomatic evil to something more dramatic and idiotic. If you take a look at Dusk, he is something like what a mage by me would be like. Should I pursue making one and see if we click, or leave you to find another?

I think Akalashin isn't what I'm looking for. In some respects, he's the opposite (terminating his lovers, doesn't play well with others, often tries controlling people etc.). That being said, I don't mind having several RPs for this with different storylines... even if they're unsuccessful IMO, Akalashin would end up killing Margit, but we can try RPing it and see.

Ah, is it fine that the character perhaps is not the typical sorcerer, but possibly simply has some magic based abilities and some education about wizard kind of magic? Because if so, you might have a short look at Thorne Marlow. His profile, currently is short (because if you look at most of my other characters, you will see more extended one), but the main idea is generally evil/neutral-aligned spell-using man with past full of torture, clearly written all over him. Due to his appearance, he can be hard to accept and I am not entirely sure how the two of them could be bound, unless one from his 'court' has decided to take revenge upon her kingdom and it goes from there-on. I am not sure about romance in general as well, and as for evil turned good - I must warn you he is not typical runs around does bad just cause he can/plots world domination, but the deeds he does for him self or his court are considered evil by pretty much all of society and he can take up the reputation with ease.

Sadrain: Thank you for your interest! The problem is, Thorne Marlow is very alien to me. I have no idea what his 'court' looks like (you know, how to envision it etc.). I don't understand his motivation.

Re: evil turned good - that's what I don't want Plus "runs around doing bad things just because he can" is stupid evil - frankly, it just seems silly to me, and it's not something I want either. And who in their right mind would want to dominate the world?

I really need logic in my RPs in the sense that things make sense to me, and I know it's not such a high priority for most people. So we'd probably have to spend a ton of time clearing up on what exactly his court looks like and a lot of other stuff, and I'm not sure if it would be enjoyable for you.

I like logic and the like as well, so therefor, I have most of these things already pre-planned, as I make the character, far before I offer or seek a role play for him or her. In this case, Thorne's closest 'court' consists of 8 men souls who died a horrible, gruesome and long death, most often a betrayal of sorts. As their deaths were long, they called upon unnatural forces for so long and with such hatred and pain, they turned into spirits of revenge, in a way. Either found then, or later by Thorne, they accomplish their revenge, but cannot exactly leave this world, so they wander around and eventually become acquainted with Thorne, who offers them a certain sense of belonging and a purpose. So, they look like men - either charming knights or bear marks and proofs of their death. Only Thorne cannot hide his scars and wounds, as he is quite physically alive, bleeds and they were inflicted with magical means.

I know you don't want evil turned good, however, if you want character who only does evil, then he might not be entirely fit, as he has a certain, weird compassion, even if rarely shown. His motivations... Well, he gathers knowledge and unique emotions, ideas, to form a marvelous collection. He might get involved in some events, if his few friends need help, for example, but if it is not about his 'court' (the close or extended one, to which there is no known number), he is generally neutral. Just the way he takes things away from minds and actual libraries of others is quite soul-trampling, so, he is not 'good'.

I just thought I would throw my offer out here, I know our two characters aren't exactly easy to match up, not with idea you had in mind, but it never hurts to offer.

Thanks for explaining! I can't imagine even the other practical stuff, like where is this place, what are the relations with neighbours/ rulers (basically - do they control their own land? How come no-one attacks them - are they that powerful? etc. etc. ).

About evil - I never said I wanted someone who is only evil. No-one is always evil, and doing only evil stuff falls under stupid evil, which, again, is something that I do NOT want. Evil has virtues! Thanks for bringing it up, though, I'm happy to be able to clarify. Thorne is definitely sufficiently evil

But they're still quite difficult to match up. Thanks for throwing your offer here I was looking for someone who would offer Margit a healthier environment than the one she's in right now - a sort of irony where being pushed into being someone other than she is by well-meaning people nearly destroys her, and someone who doesn't think twice about killing people for his own purposes ends up helping her in the end. Thorne just doesn't fit the 'healthier environment' part, given his circumstances.

It's not that they have their own kingdom in exact sense, nor they are that well known - they come and they go, where is their main home located rarely anyone knows. They don't exactly live in a cave style, though, because he as a still quite human enjoys some luxuries and also human-company (not many can enjoy his, though). They do have their own land, nothing kingdom sized, but they are sort of considered a myth and the like (as for attacking and so on) , just like in real world there are properties where not everyone does and will peak their nose in.

I, however, understand him maybe not being exactly fit. But in any case, good luck with the search. And if you ever get another idea you are seeking to fulfill, feel free to drop me a message, I've got bunch of characters and most of them are quite flexible.

Sorry for the late reply, but I gave it some thought and I think that if I modify Margit for this storyline, let her become older and more stable, it might work. I may or may not be able to play very often, though - I hope that won't be a problem. I'm PMing you with more info
