"Hahahahaha I didn't kick him that hard." He smiled still. "Sorry Brie. It's been so long that I've trained anybody I forget what novices can handle. Let me teach you how to evade and fall properly first. I mostly wanted to see you had. Right, let's start with the basics. Falling."

"Well it seems that I can fall pretty well already." Brie huffed before looking at Anua." Why don't you fight? Everyone said you were dangerous." Anua laughed softly." I can fight pretty well with only my hearing, thank you."

"Yes well you can hit the ground well, sure. But that is not falling, here let me demonstrate." He jumped into the air and landed on his side got up did it again. Where I come from it's called ukemi. It means the art of falling. in order to it you land on the ground without getting hurt like you have been. Now try it." completely ignoring Brie's conversation with Anua.

Brie huffed." If you fall from any height, you still get hurt." Anua stood up and leaned against the wall of the barn.

"Stop arguing with me Brie." Wolfen had a lot to teach in a short time. "Do as I do. What ever I correct you on, make you sure you correct in the future." As time passed Wolfen became pleased with Brie's progress. He looked to the sky. "It's time for me to go, make sure you take care of one another. If someone comes after you, what are you going to do, Brie?"

"Protect Anua and if I can't, I take her somewhere else." Brie said. Anua waited for Wolfen to finish talking to Brie, wanting to talk to him before he left.

"Very good. I have my utmost faith in you Brie, don't let me down. Alright, it's best not to make any fires, but if you do, keep them small and easy to put out. That sword is meant to be drawn from your hip like this." He drew his remaining sword and cut at the same time. "It's time I be off." With that he turned and walked out the door to the barn.

Anua walked after him." Wait. Can I talk to you?" She kept her hand in front of her so she wouldn't run into anything.

He turned around and laced his fingers into hers, holding her hand gently in his, "I only have a few minutes. But yes." He smiled at her as he spoke.

Anua blushed when his fingers laced into hers." I...wanted to tell you...be careful. I don't want you to hurt yourself too bad." Anua blushed more. She was going to say something else but she didn't have enough courage to say it.

Wolfen studied her face a bit, "What is really on your mind, Anua?" He asked and took her other hand into his as well.

Anua blinked and looked away." I'm too scared to say it." She whispered. She glanced down at their hands.

"We've come this far together. What else is there to worry about?'

"You dying. Your my only friend. The others call me a freak." She looking up at him. She then looked back down as her cheeks became redder.

"I'm not going to die. least not tonight." He smiled at her again. "If that's all you're afraid of, then I must be going." He was still holding her hands as he spoke.

Anua swallowed before leaning up and kissing his cheek softly." Just be careful." She whispered as she pulled away.

He blushed slightly, quickly regaining his composure, he grabbed her hand again and pulled her back to him, kissing her gently on the lips. "You have my word I'll come back to you tomorrow morning. Now though, I must depart. Believe in Brie, he's cunning but doesn't seem like the kind of man to go back on his word." And with that he left to find somewhere he would be secluded. The night was long and he did what he could to meditate and over come the beast inside. All the years the countless nights of the moon being full and he's still only stopped himself from transforming 5 times. Tonight was no different.

Anua didn't sleep. Brie tried to get her to sleep but she kept saying she wasn't tired. Brie sat on the inside of the barn door, keeping himself alert. Anua kept herself awake by listening to see if there was anyone nearby.

Without any of his traveling clothes, Wolfen approached the barn on the East side in the early morning sun. His Ninja garb was all he wore. He entered the barn from the top window. and landed gently right next to Brie, as silent as the wind in early morning breeze. He smiled and winked at Anua, seeing that neither of them had gotten any sleep the night before. He touched Brie's head.

Brie jumped and looked at Wolfen, the ilver sword in his hand." How did...."Brie looked around and spotted the window. He huffed. Anua laughed at Brie's reaction." Looks like you forgot to check all the openings."
