He pulled to look into her eyes, they intrigued him, how they could look so fierce yet so innocent and kind. She's beautiful, and he feels she wants him as much he want's her. "I love you Anua."

Anua's eyes softened ad she smiled gently." I love you too, Wolfen." She felt her heart flip.

He held her tight and kissed her again, "We should head back to the Inn, get somewhere a little more... private." He said smiling, teasing her. "Besides, it's getting late, and I don't want us to be out too much longer." He was worried getting ambushed and her getting hurt more, also.... he's hungry. ^^

Anua smiled." Yeah." She started to walk back towards the Inn.

"Do you hear that? Stay at my side." His eyes turned yellow. I know that scent... Adventous He put his hand on a katana, ready for anything that might show up.

Anua blinked before looking around. She swallowed as she kept close to Wolfen.

Adventous showed up for the first time, "It's so nice to see you old friend." His deep voice strong and dangerous. "How long has it been? Two hundred years? Why have we been parted for so long?"

"You killed everything I cared about, Adventous. Even you know your goons won't stop me from killing you."

"I hear the words, but still don't see any action." He jested him. "Who's your friend?"

Anua glared at Adventous. A small ball of light appeared in her hands as her body tensed." A friend of Wolfen's and that's all you need to know."

Adventous smirked, "You know I'm the most powerful person here. Even Vampires obey my will. So why won't you? At any rate, I just came to check up on you my dear friend. How's your wolf treating you these days?"

"I will kill you with it you bastard!" He moved to a more aggressive stance.

"Stay your hand, I'm not here to hurt you, not today. Let's just consider it a check up on my friend."

"Your friend?! You made him suffer! That is not friendship." She said, her voice cold. She kept her glare on Adventous.

"How else to learn to cherish what you have, unless you lose it?" He turned to walk away, three vampires stayed behind. "Kill them."

Anua smirked." Bad time to mess with me." She closed her eyes as she focused. She made a barrier around her and Wolfen with sky blue energy. If the vampires were to touch the barrier, they would go up into flames.

Not knowing anything about spells, they lunged at the two of them They carry longswords and use them very effectively. They drew them to strike Anua and Wolfen. Wolfen drew both of his katana and parried two of them, as they fell closer towards them they lit up like gasoline. He then decapitated the last one. "Thanks for that. We need to get to Brie, now."

"I'm right behind you." She let the shield shield down, holding back a wince. It took a lot of energy to keep the spell up.

He picked her up and put her on his back, as he ran straight for the town. He made it to the Inn with in a half hour and went right to his room, crashing through the door.

Brie jumped away." What the-" He stopped when he saw them." What's wrong?"

Breathing heavily Wolfen answered him, "Adventous is here. I don't know when, or where he'll strike, but that's why he's here." Wolfen still had Anua on his back.

Brie got up." explains why you burst into the room. Is she alright?"

Anua felt tired but stayed awake.

"She's a little worn out, but otherwise just fine. I want you to move to her room, no one alone anymore."

Brie nodded before standing and grabbing his sword.

Anua fell asleep against Wolfen.
