"Yes." Anua stood up and grabbed her pack, putting it on her back. She still seemed upset about reading his mind.

After getting through town and finding a secluded area Wolfen decided it was time to press the issue further."So, now that there's no one around to over us talking, how's about you start telling me about you, hmmmm?" Not giving her any slack.

Anua looked down." Why? I'm a freak enough already." Anua pulled off her blindfold, her eyes full of fear, uncertainy and defiance.

"Huh, I'm not attempting to hurt you, I just need to why, someone like you, is in a place like this!" I just don't understand, if you can see things like you do, why are you around me! You've already seen most of my past, I'm sure, didn't know to guard myself from a cute blind girl with healing powers.

"I can't see through your eyes and I know nothing of your past than what you have told me." Anua looked away." Unlike most, my blindness will always be here no matter how much I want it to go away. I can't use a single ounce of magic to see because I can't. My sight was taken away by a curse that my father ignored." Her body started trembling slightly.

Looking down at the ground, ashamed of his anger, "So you only hear thoughts, your mind doesn't do some psychic vision thing? That makes you a telepath then, right? Alright...."

Anua sat against a nearby tree." I would be able to see if my father would have remembered the curse. My mother died giving birth to me because of it."

"I'm sorry... so where do all your other powers come from then? I mean who is this god father of yours and what can he do?" more curious than anything, "I only know of gods from my home land."

"Thoth is the Egyptian scribe god and god of wisdom. My mother was a priestess that could see spirits. She was the only reason I wasn't killed by Thoth's knowledge." She looked at him." I have everything my father knows in my head and each day I gain more because my father learned more. It's why some people really want me or are trying to kill me."

"We should move." Listen to me, I don't want arguements, I just want you to listen. If you can make it that far without getting hurt, I want you to run as fast as you can to that barn. These people wanting to kill you... I think they're here now. I'll avoid killing them if I can, but if not.... I don't want you to be bothered by it, understand? He jumped up into the tree right above them, and readied himself. I count ten, do you think you can run to the barn before any catch up to you?

Anua stood up and shook her head."No. I can fight. I'm not letting you get hurt because of me." She sensed the others and tensed.

What did I tell you about arguing? If any get past me, then you can fight them, how's that?

"How about we just run?" Anua said before an idea popped into her head." Or I can try something." She closed her left hand into a fist.

"I'm not a Ninja Master for no reason, but if you're so hell bent on fighting, I guess I won't try to stop you."

"I don't want to fight but I don't want you hurt." She closed her eyes, listening.

"Make your choice, now! Fight or run!" He lunged out of the tree on top one of the pursuers, slamming him into the ground. You have four headed your way Anua, I'll handle these five. As much he doesn't like hurting people, Wolfen always enjoys a good fight.

"Got it." Anua closed her eyes. She sensed them coming and slammed her fist into the first one's face, nearly breaking his jaw.

He round house kicked the next one and threw the other to the ground, breaking his arm, he then slammed his foot into the mans face.

Anua caught the man's arm when he tried to punch her and slammed her palm into his elbow, breaking it with a loud snap. She pushed the man away just another appeared behind her, catching her off guard. She spun around right before he slammed a dagger into her right shoulder, causing her to yelp and fall down to a kneeling position, holding her bleeding shoulder.

Hearing the yelp from his companion, Wolfen grabbed the one man by the throat and slammed him into the last two men next to him. He then grabbed and threw one shuriken, at the man that had stabbed Anua, and quickly followed up with a few fast punches, knocking the man's jaw bone into his eye. rendering him immobile. Wolfen then just grabbed the last man by the color of his shirt and slammed him into the nearest tree, "Why are you here?" he asked, while holding the man in a grip he knew he could not escape.
