Archur looked over, startled, then picked it up and let out the Pokemon.

Shock jumped up after being released and hugged Archer. He had just woken up and was now a little hyper. Shade glanced up and rolled his eyes at Shock.

Archur smiled sadly and hugged the little mouse back then silently left the room, heading downstairs to order some breakfast.

Shock climbed onto Archur's shoulder. He looked around, his ear twitching. Shock wanted to comfort Archur but he didn't know how to.

Archur reached up and gently pet Shock as he madw his way down.
About 20 minutes later he returned with some warm pancakes.

in that time, Venice had woken and slowly moved away from Shade then curled up against Shira.

Shira was holding Venice close but carefully. Shade watched Archur and Shock as they entered the room. He was sitting on Shira's bed.

Venice was snuggled up nice and close to Shira, her head buried against Shira's chest and her little paws clinging to the girl's shirt. Archur sat down at the table, watching the girls sleep.

Shock watched them before jumping on Shade. He started to play with Shade's fur, making Shade roll his eyes. Shira stirred slowly.

Archur smiled at the two electric types though his eyes still showed great sadness and he looked ill at ease.

Shira woke up and smiled when she saw Venice snuggled up to her. Shira hugged the small Pokemon gently. She didn't feel as tired as before.

Archur watched her with his sad smile as Shira hugged Venice.
"Promise to actually sleep tonight?" he asked quietly.

Shira nodded." I'll be out like a light."she said softly About an hour later after she had eaten, Shira ws ready to go out and explore. She pulled on her bag.

Archur sat down on the bed. He wasn't ready to go anywhere and didn't know how long it would take him to be able to. His mind was currently stressed by how he was going to tell the rest of his team, Nicholai most of all.

Shira looked at him and smiled." Do you want anything while I'm out?" She tried to cheer Archur up. Shock and Shade were asleep on the bed.

"No... I'm fine, thank you though..." he said quietly and rolled onto his stomach. He was almost expecting the warm body of a small fire type to curl up between his shoulders, something Rome did whenever he could, but no warmth came and it sent a violent shiver down Archur's spine.
Rome was gone. He was gone and there was no bringing him back. Tears started springing to Archur's eyes again.

Shira looked down before walking over and sitting beside him. She leaned down and kissed his cheek softly before hugging Archur, wanting to comfort him.

He blushed deep red and went stiff for a moment then smiled sadly and looked up at her, "Thanks..." he sat up and wiped away the salty tears.
Venice came up and hopped into Shira's lap, nuzzling her.

"Anytime." Shira sat softly. She looked down at Venice before gently petting her." Would you like to come with me, Venice?"

The young dark type seemed deep in thought for a moment before looking to Archur, who nodded his permission. Venice nodded up at Shira and scrambled up, trying to hold onto her chest.

Shira smiled as she picked Venice up gently. She looked at Archur." I'll be back soon." She softly kissed his forehead before standing up and walking to the door.
