Rome sighed in relief, <Good, because you're it!> by the time he had finished saying this, he was already running away.

He blushed even deeper, <Well, you make it really easy to be nice to you.>

Solar smiled before running after Venice.

(Then dice roll it is then )

Willow blushed.< I always treat others nice the best I can.>

The zorua was more or less running right underneath of Shade in an attempt to not be tagged.

Archur stood and called his three pokemon over and tehy all did so obediently, "You guys ready for a quick battle?" he asked and he got a chorus of happy cried from them.

<You do a wonderful job at it yourself.>

Solar tagged Shade who tripped, not landing on Venice.

Terra and Char came over." I'm all set."

Willow smiled. She watched the others play tag.

Venice froze as she saw Shade get tagged then ran out from under him and sprinted away.

"Forli, you're up first," Archur said and the flyogn nodded, flapping to a position in front of him.

Anubis watched too, but his attention was drawn to the battle.

Solar darted away as Shade got up. He looked around.

"Okay Char. Your up." Char positioned himself in front of Shira.

Willow heard Shira and looked.< I hope she does okay.>

Rome and Venice were both hiding together under a log and Rome couldn't help but feel nervous about it.

"Ladies first," Archur teased lightly.

<Why? Does something usually go wrong?>

Shade sniffed the ground. Solar was hiding behind a tree.

(What kind of dice should I use?)

<She's never battled with only 3 Pokemon before except for a long time ago.>

Venice huddled close to Rome, making him blush deeply and look the opposite way.

(10 sided. Each Pokemon has 50 health. 0 is a miss, but each number represents damage. Super effective moves do 5 extra each time)

<Archur doesn't battle with just 3 very often either,> Anubis shrugged, <It's not some big deal though, is it?>

Shade stopped right in front of the log Venice and Rome were hiding.

"Char, use Fire blast."

< She's my trainer. I get to worry about her.>

Both Pokemon held their breath as they saw Shade's paws.

(And not effective moves are -4)
Forli grunted slightly as she took the hit but it didn't do much.
"Forli! Dragon breath!"

<True,> Anubis nodded and watched the battle.

Shade smirked and walked away as if to check somewhere else.

"Char, use Fly!"

Willow watched carefully.

Neither Rome nor Venice dared to move though.

Forli grunted again from the impact but still took little damage.
"Alright! Forli, use dragon pulse!"

Anubis watched with idle interest.

Shade sighed.< I know your there.>

Shira knew she should've changed Pokemon but she didn't." Char, flame burst."

Willow smiled slightly.

Venice suddenly had a small revelation and made it do that both she and Rome were invisible with her illusions and they started slowly walking away.

(Wait... That's not super effective. How did he go from 49 to 37?)
Forli just smirked. She was barely scratched and te attack wasn't very effective.
"Use iron tail!" Archur ordered

Anubis smiled simply because he saw Willow smile.

Shade looked around.

(I meant to put 47)
Char recovered from Forli's attack." Char, use Fly."

Willow laughed.< It seems Char might finally not be able to beat someone.>

Once out of reach, the two reappeared, laughed and ran off.

(But... Dragon attacks have normal effectiveness on fire/flying, right? It would still be six and nine damage. Fire isn't effective against dragon though... I feel like we should have worked this out better)

<I doubt he could beat Nicholai either. He might be able to take Char out in two hits.>

Shade heard them and ran after tem.

(Yeah. Why don't we say we fought and you won 'cause I'm lost on damage.)

<Then she would probably use Terra.>

Rome and Venice sprinted side by side for a while then turned opposite directions again.

(+4 damage everytime it's a super effective move, -4 damage if it's not very effective. If the damage is under four and already is not very effective it goes to 1 damage)

<Ah, but Forli knows flamethrower,> Anubis countered.

Shade ran after Venice, tagging her.

(Yeah but I keep forgetting what's super effective and what's not)

<Well that's will probably end in a draw or he wins.>
